This series had me from the first book. They had everything I like in a series - the characters where multifaceted but all came together to protect each other and form a family of tough guys and the women and children that loved them.

The suspense continues in the lead up to the wedding, more clues come forward and more problems along with them. This is now gradually leading us into the next series I feel with Bastion making appearances to Serena. Addy and Owen deserve their happy ending, or at least their wedding because I feel there will still be more to come from this couple and the team they are with. It is a scary thought that people could be experimenting on ways to change and enhance human beings, to make super humans or to somehow take over the world, to control so many lives and not for good and to do it without permission. Kidnap, force or even just babies, it is enough to cause nightmares. Authors have very vivid imaginations but I'm sure that somewhere in the world there have been tyrants who would love to have the technology to do something along these lines, I just pray it never actually happens. Fantastic series and great story.
