Overview

Pandora the Curious (Goddess Girls Series #9) by Joan Holub, Suzanne Williams

Pandora is quite an inquisitive Goddess Girl—but she could stand to be more cautious.

Pandora is one of the few mortals at Mount Olympus Academy—and probably the most curious of all the students in school. Her quizzical nature is famous—not that she thinks there is anything wrong with being curious, of course!
When a godboy named Epimetheus brings a mysterious and fantastical box to school, Pandora’s curiosity is piqued. And when it unexpectedly lands in her lap—literally—she can’t help but take a look at what’s inside. What could be the harm in that? But little does she know that opening the box will open up more trouble than she thought….

This was a really great book for me and all tweens and pretweens and i loved the plot about how pandora opens epimetheus and prometheus's box and lets athena get bumped by the ditz bubble and artimes get bumped by the vain bubble and then persephone is mean and aphrodite is rude and zues is lazy and medusa gets all greedy and everything and then she solves their problems with the hope bubble and you should really buy this book because the plot is amazing and you really gt captured in the story and you can trust me on that because i've read it and know how awesome it is

"What's wrong?" I ask Malia as she pulls me along. "Well, I was just standing in the middle of the dream, in the big culdesac, when this giant temple thing just appeared. But that's not he really weird part. You'll need to see it to believe it." As Malia finishes her story, we enter the large circular area. "Whoa," I breathe. The temple IS huge- fifty feet tall and at least that long. That's not the most magnificent part, though. The temple walls are a soft, glowing yellow, painted with vibrant designs reminescent of the Aztecs and Incas. The whole thing shimmers as if it is a mirage, but it's becomkng more solid by the minute. "Okay, this is a little out of the ordinary, but what's the REALLY REALLY WEIRD part you were talking about?" I ask Malia. "That," she says, and points toward the inside of the building. I step forward to get a closer look. "What the-" I say, my face one giant question mark. "Yup," affirms Malia. "That's the REALLY REALLY WEIRD part." Next on Medusa the Mean under Dream Dimensions 3. Again, PLEASE tell me wht you think! First two people to say what they think of it get to be in the story! One will be villian's liutenant one will be a the person whose dream it is (they will help Lisa and Malia and end up being Lisa's boyfriend probably)

The book, Goddess Girls - Pandora the Curious by Joann Holub and Suzanne Williams was about a girl named Pandora who was curious and brave. She opened a box full of trouble bubbles. The bubbles scattered all over the school. Whenever a bubble hits someone, it says something. Nobody can hear it, but Pandora can. If the bubble says “rude” that person that it bumped would be rude. She captured the bubbles. The last bubble is gold and whoever it bumps will turn back to normal. She learned to never do that again. I think kids and adults would like it because it is kind of a mystery. It is not just about Pandora, it is about God boys like Apollo or Poseidon too. My dad read it and he enjoyed it. My favorite part was when she captured the bubbles because it was really exciting when she finally captured them. Usually I like the endings of books, so I loved this one. What is special about this book is that not most books are about Gods. I love those kind of books. Review by Young Mensan Sofia H., age 8

Good book but the authors really need to do some reaserch on their facts. For the record it was a pithos which is a jar. Pandora also is not pretty at all and she has to be. Just read the myths. Also I saw some girls on the cover being vain and stuff which some already were vain and some were not. Plus the bad things only went to mortals not thegods.
