"People scrambled to remove the rest of the bad seeds. Seeds that when planted in other seeds would result in more unwanted weeds...remove the ignorant--the absolute idiots --and achieve worldwide bliss," (183). In Rook's short story collection, bad drivers, cell phonies, spammers, internet trolls, and many other idiots meet their demise. Although I enjoyed all of the stories in the collection, my favorite story is "Horrible Bosses" since I've had quite a few. Finley Ross, the boss in this story, doesn't listen to his employees, forces them to work through Thanksgiving and Christmas, fires certain employees merely because he doesn't like them, drinks on the job, etc. He is truly a boss from Hell and one of the wickedest characters in the collection. People Who Need To Die is definitely worth checking out!
