Perception, Deception, and Imperfection

I came up with the title Perception, Deception, and Imperfection after I had written all the poems for this book. I wanted to find a way to portray how our perception of ourselves, others, and the world around us defines the way we live. So many of us focus on our own failures or the imperfections of others because we do not know where else to turn.
