I have been listening to O&A almost from the first time they hit NYC. I was a big Stern fan and so they filled the void in the afternoon. The stories told here were ones I have heard throughout the years. I enjoyed reliving them. I jumped on board with Anthony the first month he broadcast. We are contemporaries as far as age goes and still enjoy most of what tumbles out of his mouth. So this book will give the newbies a history and the old timers (like me) a fantastic, nostalgic journey. Thanks for the memories....
Anthony Cumia is not only a brilliant radio personality, but also one of the most original comedians on the planet. You know you are doing something right, when the American Left hates everything about you. Anthony is the real deal. Courageous and honest. This book lays it all out...raw and real. An unusual thing in this era of triggered fraudulent Social Justice Warriors.
I liked it though a lot of it will already be known to O&A fans, though the fans will probably still love reading about it. The other reviews for this book are foolish and clearly were written by people who did not read the book. There is nothing about racism in the book at all other than Anthony saying he is not racist and his talk about it is nothing more than him playing a character on the show. It's a story about Anthony's life growing up in New York and California, breaking into radio with Opie, getting famous, then getting fired, and then building his own brand online called Compound Media.
I'm about 1/2 way through and must say that its an excellent read! I was a big fan of O&A and really looked forward to getting my hands on this book. For any fan of the show, Anthony Cumia, or someone just looking for an entertaining and inspirational read, this book is for you! As far as these bad reviews posted on here lets be real: these lame's didn't even read the book. That much is obvious. They're just SJW's with 2" biceps who want to justify their miserable existence. The walls in there moms basement are closing in on them and they feel the need to lash out. Lol...just some lames who haven't accomplished anything in life. YouTube the recent Rogan podcast with guest, Anthony Cumia, and you'll see what a great person he is. Enjoy my friends, power to free speech, and right on .....right on ....right on!
Don't waste your money. It's a bunch of stories you've already heard on the radio, plus stories of Anthony's sexual conquests (but he omits the juiciest one)
