A lot of guys my age wanted to be pimps when we grew up in the hood. It was basically part of the street culture in our neighborhood. We looked up to drug dealers and pimps because they were basically the only guys who had a pocket full of money to flash to females.

And they had all of the beautiful women chasing after them.

Those were basically the only options that looked good to us growing up around poverty. Because most of our parents were just barely making it at their low paying jobs....
