About the Author

Terry Pile is a creative and versatile career counselor and coach specializing in helping people find and succeed in the work they love. She has been working with individuals and businesses throughout the U.S. for over a decade. She began working with the ex-offender population through the King County Jobs Initiative in 2006.

Terry has a Master's degree in education from Indiana University and a certificate in career development facilitation from the University of Washington. She is certified by the Center for Credentialing and Education as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF). Career counseling is Terry's third career. She taught in the public schools and was a marketing executive at Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide. Now she teaches individuals to market themselves for successful employment.

In addition, to consulting and training, Terry writes feature articles on career issues in the print and electronic media. She has published five electronic books on career topics through Get to the Point Books. She is the co-author of Changing Careers after 40: Real Stories, New Callings. This is her second book.
