Wow! Just Wow! I still can’t catch my breath after this one. Rand melds steam with suspense, red hot romance with genuine feelings, and places it all amidst the dangerous world of an MC. I was captivated from cover to cover. Rand’s unforgettable plot shine through as her vibrant, if at times dark, descriptions really bring out the best (and worst) in everyone. The intense and intricately woven plot took me to so many different places and evoked so many emotions that I couldn’t get enough of it. And don’t even get me started on the characters! The heroine’s need to stand on her own but realization that it isn’t always possible made her infinitely real. The hero’s need to protect what is his but acceptance that it may not be possible with Tina. Together, this couple not only lit the pages on fire, they also made me want to be part of the story. They had the type of romance that you crave, if with a bit of a twist. The biggest downfall of this book was that it ended. I definitely wasn’t done with the characters and am dying for more from this series. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

The Sons of Odin series is not typical of many MC series. The criminal side of the MC world doesn't come into play much here, just a couple of brief mentions of gun running. The scenes of violence are mostly on behalf of a woman in danger from someone outside the club. Possession is the second book of the series and focuses on the romance of attorney Tina, who has a stalker problem, and Vincent, a club officer with two ex-wives and children he is barely allowed to see. These two are pretty likable characters and the story is an enjoyable read with some steamy sex as a bonus. I like the author's writing style and will be looking for the next book of the series. A complimentary copy of this book was provided by Random House Loveswept via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

3,5 STARS OK, I have a confession to make. After reading some reviews before I actually started this book, my thoughts were "hmmm, not sure I'm gonna like this story." And after reading a few chapters I feared that this story might not be as enjoyable as I first thought. BUT after the first 50 pages or so it started to get better and by the end I was quite pleased with how the story turned out. I liked the plot and characters, well, aside from one but when you read the book you'll be the same opinion as me, trust me. Anyway, what I found fascinating is how the author put together two main characters that couldn't be more different, even if they tried it. One is a member of an 1% MC club and the other is a successful attorney. If nothing else, the author would defninitely have me at that and I would read the story just out of my curiosity. But of course the story is about so much more than that. Tina and Vincent have been playing this cat and mouse game for almost over a year and everytime things get heated, it's not Tina that pulls away, not even close. It's Vincent and his reasoning is, how do I put this nicely, hmm, nope can't do it. Simply said his reasoning is cowardly. There, I said it. But it's the truth! Just because he got hurt by his past two serious (like marriage serious) relationships, that doesn't mean he can never love again. Why deny his happiness when he did nothing wrong. He's just punishing himself and for no good reason! Thankfully Tina knows how to crack him, after all, she is one heck of an attorney and winning is her freaking middle name! And that's exactly what she does! I loved her character, she's sassy, feisty and knows what she wants. Unfortunately her awesome personality attracts also some unwanted attention from one of her clients and things then quickly take a more stalkerish turn. But Vincent knows how to keep her safe, even if he has to cross a few lines. All I can say is, the end results was defnitely worth it! Would I recommend Possession? Yes, I would. It's a story you can read in just one sitting and since it has romance mixed with action, I'm sure you won't be bored with the plot. Happy reading!

Tina was at a wedding of her best friend. That had married a 1/2 Sons Of Odin biker, The reception had ½ socialites and half good people who get a bad rep. Tina had been the maid of honor and Vincent was best man. But Tina had an uncontrollable attraction to Vincent. Tina had met Vincent at Tito’s six months earlier and has wanted to sleep with him since. Tina was a Jr associate lawyer. But Vincent wouldn’t let himself give in as he had two bad marriages behind him and didn’t do casual . Vincent also knew he’s fall in love with Tina. Good story. I enjoyed it a lot. Had a little of everything : sexual tension, family, lawyer, stalker, murder, MC sit down, MCS, adoption, love, kids, fear, anger, attitude, and a lot more. I good spin on an MC story. Nice to see a lawyer with a biker. I loved the characters especially Vincent and Tina and all the ins and outs they go through.I recommend. I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.

A strong heroine who is being stalked by one of her clients, Tina turns to Vincent, the treasurer of the Sons of Odin MC. They shared a brief but hot hook up after the wedding in the first book of the series and even though Vincent ended things before they really started, much to Tina's dismay, Tina is very serious about trying to seduce him. It was fun to watch these two circle each other along with everything else going on around them. I cannot wait for the next installment in this series! **Received a copy of this from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

Tina and Vincent meet at a wedding and sparks fly but Vincent won’t cross any lines, after two failed marriages he is done with that. A few months later Tina is having a night on the town when a former client she represented tries to pick her up and won’t take no for an answer. She heads to a biker bar and Vincent is there, knowing she is in danger his protective instincts take over. This was an enjoyable read, would have liked a little more intensity, however I enjoyed the story as well as the characters.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this book! This is book 2 in the Sons of Odin MC series. Book one was Lang and Lily's story and this book is Tina and Vincent's story. Valentina (Tina) Bethel is a junior associate attorney. She's had the hots for Vincent and had a quick encounter with him at Lang and Lily's wedding, but Vincent stopped it. She's determined to get him in bed! She has a client (Kline Barnes) call her by her first name while she's out and she quickly tells him that she's Ms. Bethel to her clients. However, he's very arrogant, and continually calls her Tina. On her way home someone is following her. Normally she would go to Lang and Lily's but she goes to the MC club hoping for protection from the crazy person following her. Of course, most of the MC club is out of town and Vincent is there. Vincent decides he will protect Tina, but he can't wind up in bed with her. He's got two failed marriages and two boys, he just doesn't trust females. Oh he's interested in bedding Tina, but he won't if he can help it. Can he protect her from Kline Barnes? More than that can he protect her from himself. This was a good book! Twist, turns and some copulating! Vincent is such a sweetheart and I love the lengths that he'll go to to protect Tina. I've read book 1 and 2, but I think this could be a stand alone and the reader not be confused. Copy received in exchange for an honest review.

Tina and Vincent had so much chemistry in Persuasion so I couldn't wait for their book to come out and I'm happy to say this book did not disappoint at all. Tina, a lawyer, finds herself on the unhappy side of a client she helped defend in an abuse case recently and while she was able to help get him off on a lesser charge I am sure she is regretting that decision once he starts stalking her. Tina is trying to get away from her crazy stalker so she winds up at a bar that is owned by the Sons of Odin MC and runs into Vincent who vows to take care of her. Vincent is fighting his attraction to Tina because he has had two marriages that didn't make it and he feels that Tina deserves someone better then him....oh how wrong he is. Tina and Vincent grow closer together while he is protecting her and even though Vincent had always put the breaks on when Tina made advances at him it was great to see that he let his walls down so that he could find where he was meant to be...with Tina. This being the second book in the series it is advised to read the first one so that you can watch the story unfold but it isn't necessary, this book could be read as a standalone. I look forward to Property of J.T. which will be the next book in the series. ***I have received this book from Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept through netgalley in exchange for my honest review***

Quick read! 4.5 stars *I received an ARC from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review* Possession is a quick read! It's the 2nd installment for Violetta Rand's new Sons of Odin series, ! If you like a story about bad boys, hot bikers, leather jackets, hot and sexy scenes, then you are in for a treat! It tells the story of Tina, a young attorney and Vincent, a real bad boy, a biker! Can a relationship be possible between two persons coming from so different worlds? Theirs is complicated with lots of twists and turns. You'll remember these characters in her first story. Possession is well written and fun to read!

I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review and here it is: 4 stars. This is the first novel I've read in this series, but I've previously read and thoroughly enjoyed the author's Devil's Den MC series, which was why I was eager to read this new one. While her writing is, as usual, excellent, I wasn't quite certain what to make of Possession. First, we meet Tina. She's maid of honor at her friend Lily's wedding to Lang, a former president of the Sons of Odin MC, who,m I'm assuming, was featured in the first book of this series. Tina is an up and coming defense lawyer. After the newlyweds leave, she's in the process of getting smashed on peppermint schnapps and flirts with Vincent, Lang's best friend and the current treasurer of the MC, who's clearly as attracted to her as she is to him, but all they do is kiss. Flash forward 5 months and Lily and Lang are still honeymooning in Paris when Tina decides to go out drinking alone and she has the misfortune to bump into Kline Barnes, a client she defended and for whom she got probation rather than a jail sentence. Since her law firm frowns on fraternizing with clients, she politely refuses his advances, but he doesn't take no for an answer, and when she flees the bar, she realizes he's following her. Not knowing what else to do, she heads for Valhalla, a bar owned by the MC. Vincent sees her arrival, and when she trips on her stilettos and sprains her ankle in the parking lot, he brings her inside. Let the flirting and sexual innuendo begin, but again, Vincent still manages to resist her advances, and the next morning, after discovering that her SUV has been vandalized, he arranges for one of the club members to repair it and instead spends the day with Tina, and takes her bird watching, which is hardly the hobby this reader would have guessed an MC member would enjoy. The stalking continues as does the attraction, bringing out Vincent's protective side, yet he still manages to resist Tina, explaining that at age 29, he's already got two sons and two ex-wives. He's clearly an intelligent man who once had a successful career in business, but I found the lack of darkness in him an anomaly. Based on the previous MC series, I kept waiting to learn about whatever past trauma lured him into the life, but again, there really wasn't one. While the stalking of Tina continues to escalate, there's also a subplot when one of the Sons of Odin makes off with the old lady of a rival gang member, and again, Vincent, who is the ranking club member there at the time, tries to seek a peaceful resolution to the conflict. Vincent is an extremely likable and very sexy character, yet nothing about his personality seems to fit the MC image. Tina, who comes from a wealthy background and who's been attracted to him since the day they met a year ago, is a lawyer at a prestigious law firm and wants to advance in her career, so her involvement with Vincent hardly seems like a good fit. While the romance between these two continues on to an HEA ending, and while I was certainly absorbed in and intrigued by their story to stay up until 4 a.m. to finish the novel, it was a bit like doing a jigsaw puzzle where the pieces just didn't seem to fit together to form a cohesive picture. The reason for the 4-star rating is based on the quality of Ms. Rand's writing, but the Sons of Odin are perhaps the tamest and gentlest MC I've encountered to date.

This steamy novel is Book 2 in the Sons of Odin MC series. If you read Book 1, you'll recognize the main characters ... Tina is best friends with Lily and Vincent is Treasurer in the club that Lang was President of when he met Lily. Even though he's a bad boy and she's a smart mouth, they have such a sweet connection that I really enjoyed. Can't wait to see what J.T. gets up to in Book 3! Tina Bethel is an up-and-coming attorney working long hours to move up in her firm. She doesn't take time out for much in the way of fun, but she's more than willing to change that when she runs into Vincent again a few months after "the night that almost happened" after Lily and Lang's wedding reception. If only she could get this guy to agree to hitting the sheets with her! Vincent Ramas has a long history of ugliness behind him ... a couple of divorces under his belt, memories of war, club business he can't talk about ... and he just does not have it in him right now to take a chance on any sort of committed relationship. Will he change his mind after spending more time with Tina?

Possession is a pretty tame MC book about the Sons of Odin's treasurer, Vincent and Valentina, a bold take charge woman who happens to be a defense attorney. Valentine and Vincent met when Tina's best friend meets and falls in love with the Sons of Odin's President. Tina and Vincent have instant attraction but Vincent has been burned twice by failed marriages and knows Tina would be too much for him, so he resists. They are forced to spend time together helping to plan Lily and Langs wedding. This story starts at the end of the wedding with Tina trying to temp Vincent, with no luck. The story truly begins when later, Tina runs into Vincent after being stalked by a client and Vincent steps in to protect her. From that point on Tina is pretty relentless in pursuing Vincent while he tries to protect her and keep her at arms length. To break it down, the first half of the book is Tina coming on pretty strong to breakdown Vincent's walls and when he finally caves, the rest half of the book is dealing with Tina's stalker client. I liked Vincent's character. He came off as a very honorable and protective man but he was a little too honorable about Tina's advances. I also liked Tina's character because she was a take charge type of woman who at first didn't think she needed anyone's help. The two fit together well, however, I would have enjoyed this book more if there was less resisting and more about there relationship. ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed reading this one. A bit on the mild side for a MC book but enjoyable nonetheless. Vincent is a Sons of Odin officer and Tina is a defense attorney. These two have always been attracted to each other but Vincent has always put the breaks on anything moving forward with them. He's had bad relationships in his past and he wants nothing like that in his future and he's sure with Tina he would want more. He's successful in his hands off approach until it appears Tina is being stalked by one of her clients and keeping her safe becomes his primary focus. This book is very well done and I really enjoyed these characters. Can't wait to read more in this series. I definitely recommend this one.

Ambitious young attorney Tina Bethel doesn’t have time for commitment, but she wouldn’t pass up some hot, no-strings sex with the right guy—like Sons of Odin officer Vincent Ramos. Six feet, five inches of solid muscle and biker masculinity, he revs Tina up like no man ever has. The trouble is, every time they get physical, Tina’s cravings are never quenched—because Vincent always pumps the brakes before the point of no return. With her sexy body packaged in a short skirt, Tina’s enough to drive any man crazy. Vincent isn’t sure how he’s resisted her shameless come-ons. He just knows that if he gives in, he won’t be able to stop—and after two failed marriages, he can’t afford any more broken promises. But when a disgruntled client of Tina’s starts stalking her, Vincent has to make up his mind about his true feelings—fast. Because if he’s willing to put his body in the line of fire, he should be able to risk his heart in the name of love. Review: Let me start out by saying I enjoyed this story and it was different from other MC books I have read. Compared to other MC books I have read it is light on the whole MC culture, but if you are new to MC books this might not be a bad place to start. It is sexy and alpha-male but on a watered down scale and probably not what you are expecting when you see it is centered MC culture. I liked Tina, she is a good heroine, smart, tough and a go-getter, heck she could have been in this MC and kicked some of their butts...lol Vincent is not at all what I expected for the character in this book. I mean he is in an MC and he continually turns down Tina. I get that he is gun-shy, come on the girl is throwing herself at you. To me he is just low on the alpha-male scale. When they finally do get together and he lets her in his pants, they are hot and sexy. The stalker aspect of the story, how it threw them together it was well done both from the couples point and the villains. This is the second in the series, but honestly this is a stand-alone story. Well-written and interesting story. Again, a good starter MC culture book for those new to the genre. 3.5Stars *Received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for a fair and honest review.*
