Pride of the Scouts a tale from the deadlands

On an alien world, twelve soldiers find themselves abandoned miles behind enemy lines. They are hopelessly outnumbered and their chances of survival are slim, but to run would mean the destruction of all they hold dear, so the soldiers hatch a desperate plan to pull off the impossible. They will meet the enemy on the field of honor, and with courage, sacrifice, and a little luck, they might just win the day.
