I thought taking a position at Grimm University would be the start of something normal—new job, new town, maybe even a chance to have a life that didn't revolve around data models and weather forecasts. As an Assistant Professor of Atmospheric Data Science in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, I figured my biggest challenge would be calibrating sensors.
