Ravings of a Madman
Why is he mad? What is he raving about? Where did he get his opinions? These editorials and other writings from Jim Andrews (who died in 2016) are still relevant today, because Democrats have only gotten worse! In these editorials you can learn about economics, small business (by a man who had one), and other things.

Jim has a lot of opinions in this book, plus some things just for fun, as well as family stories, which he puts in to relieve the political and spiritual intensity that is in all the rest of the book. The variety you will find here is worth the reading. By the way I greatly enjoyed editing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it just as much.
Dedication
God, you are praised for Your goodness, for You are good all the time and everywhere, and You are praised for Your wonderful works of Salvation, The Holy Bible, and this universe we live in!!! Dedicated to the glory of God.

About the Author

Jim was born in Harvey, Illinois. After growing up a bit, he started in 1945, at the University of Wisconsin, got his mechanical engineering degree, and his wife of more than 50 years, Beverly, by the time he graduated.
Jim finished school at an odd time of year, so he scrambled to find a job opening. He found one with an outfit in East Chicago called Inland Steel. He got the job after sitting in the Master Mechanic’s office for three days while the Master Mechanic was out helping the city of East Chicago with a water main problem. Jim thought he might have gotten the job because of the company’s embarrassment from making him wait so long.
Jim worked at Inland for seven years until his asthma started giving him problems, then he moved his family to Colorado and found a job with Sterns Rodgers. After working there for some time, Jim started his own company, B-Ten.
B-Ten made precision scales and had 50 employees. For some years they made all the scales for the air bag industry. Jim decided to retire and moved to Colorado’s Western Slope with his wife. They started going to the same church I attend and we soon became best friends.
Even though Jim retired from engineering, he found that he liked sending letters to the editor of the local paper, and there were even more than are in his book. In time, he asked me to edit his letters before he sent them to the paper, we talked about putting them into a book, and we decided upon the title.
Jim’s wife (of more than 50 years), Bev, passed some years before he did, so when he could no longer drive, because of his eyes, I became his driver. That worked until his son Dave and Dave’s wife, Pat, moved in with Jim, because of Jim’s health.
Jim passed in 2016, but he was still writing those editorials as long as he could (notice the dates, where we have them). Dave and I decided to go ahead with the book, so here it is.
