This is the second book in the November Blue series. Unlike 10 Days Of Perfect, RA is told from both Ember and Bo's POV's. Ember is broken hearted after finding out Bo's secret. Adrian stayed with her until she was able to return to work. Bo is beside himself and has stopped calling her because she refuses to take his phone calls. Bo is surprised when Ember decides to stay with HOPE. Bo hands over the daily operations of DROP to someone else so that their contact will be limited. They try to discuss what happened but Ember just can't get passed it. She tells Bo that they must act like adults because their callaboration is good for both of their organizations. Adrian and Ember start spending more time together. Ember feels comfortable with him and loves the easiness of their relationship. What I liked a lot about this book was that the relationship between Ember and Adrain never felt forced. She was still attracted to him after she saw him for the first time in years in 10 days. We get a little more insight into their relationship the first time that they dated. Once again I love that November is a strong female character and isn't the typical wishy washy, let all the men in her life walk all over her type of girl. They have both grown up and are willing to try again. Ember sticks to her beliefs and always does what she believes is right even when it threatens to damage some of her other relationships. My heart broke for all three characters at some point in the book. Which for me normally doesn't happen. The last quarter of the book was super emotional for me and I enjoyed every minute of the ride. Once again the ending was not expected and leaves you NEEDING a third book. FAVORITE QUOTE: "I'd follow you to the beginning of time, to the end of time, and back, November. Just say when."
After reading this book I heard that it is for free at Amazon. I didnt like this book, I bought it because of the end of the first and I wanted more of Bo's and November romance, but this book is more about November playing with Adrian feelings. There is almost none romance between her and Bo. I expected a third one, but read in the author website that will be about Regan story, I don't think I will read it.
