Red Falcon
When the attacks begin, no one is prepared.

A pleasant September day quickly turns into a fight for survival as explosions rain down from the sky, soldiers invade the streets, and mass hysteria grips the population of Monmouth County, New Jersey. After the dust settles and the mysterious invaders disappear, three groups of young survivors must find a way to live in a decimated landscape with no parents, no power, and no idea what happened to everyone else.

Jason Stroud wakes up in an evacuation bus submerged underwater. He has no idea how much time has passed since they were driven off the road and into the water below. Once Jason and the other teens escape to the surface, they find a world different from what they remember. Buildings reduced to rubble, cars abandoned in the streets, craters littering the ground, and no sign of other life or of the attackers that ravaged their homes.

Filled with mystery, adventure, and the looming feeling that danger is never far behind, Red Falcon follows Jason and his crew through a journey of discovery, loss, and acclimation to an empty world.

About the Author

Joe McGarry grew up in Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey and like the characters in his Fowl Calamity series, attended Manasquan High School. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Communications and minor in English from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, he decided his degree would be best put to use as a trampoline park manager. He likes hanging out with his friends and talking to his cat for career advice. He dislikes pineapple on pizza and taking pictures where he is forced to smile. He looks sixteen, but is probably older than that. He also thinks it is weird talking about himself in the third person when writing this about the author section.

While I have you here though, let's talk about friends who wear hats. Do not get drunk at the bar and proceed to steal the hat off of their head. I have hat-hair right now and look like an idiot. I'm self-conscious about my hair today, which is why I was wearing the hat in the first place. If you had a friend who was self-conscious about their weight, would you lift up their shirt and laugh? No? THEN GIVE ME BACK MY HAT! Why are you like this Jimmy!?!?!?

I don't post a ton, but when I do it's mediocre to above average.
