Susan began writing with a collection of children's stories that appeared in an annual. Her articles have appeared in My Weekly, Bella, Take a Break and the Daily Mail.

Winning a competition with the theme, 'No-one will ever know' was a treat, and when the email came, she thought it was a fluke, and almost delted it. Three little words came on the Alfie dog longlist in the 2014 international competition.

Her romantic novel has been on the shortlist of the RNA new talent awards in 2012 and again in 2014. It is now complete and awaiting a publisher. In the meantime, she is working on a follow up.

When not writing, Susan spends time walking through the Warwickshire countryside, or reading.
