Caris Roane is excellent with character development and book 3 of the Rapture's Edge series displays that well. She brings two characters with difficult pasts into a relationship, highlighting the hardships that history and duty place no matter our wants and desires. Always there seems to be a new kink and one can't help but feel for them as they try to work themselves out. Through it all she lays the groundwork for other books and important aspects of the overarching conflict and plot line with expert strokes. Copy received in exchange for honest review.

Title: Revealed Author: Caris Roane Genre: Adult, Paranormal Romance Format: Ebook Pages: 393 Rating: 5 Heat: 5 Thoughts: Beautiful ending for Rachel and Duncan. At times I wondered if they were ever going to get their HEA. Yea, I know, it was going to happen but I was definitely worried once Duncan had his vision that he didn't completely share with everyone. I had no clue how they were going to change it, kept expecting something to change it, and cried when it happened. And yes, I'm that person that will tell you NOTHING lol! I will tease you but never purposefully give anything away, bahahahaha. Anyway, this is a must read!! Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work and chose to write a review.

In this installment of Rapture's Edge many secrets come to light. Duncan and Rachel's relationship comes to a point where they both have to make life changing decisions. This story was wonderfully written and very detailed, I felt like I was in Third Earth and ready to be part of the black ops team. I can't wait to see what happens next. *A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

This is book 3 in the Raptures Edge series, as part of the Guardians of Ascension series. It features mainly Duncan and Rachel but deals with many others. Right from the beginning this author grabs you and pulls you into this amazing world full of vampire warriors fighting evil forces for good, ultimately finding love and family. There's so much action and new things to discover. There are many nail biting moments and some that melt your heart. Duncan and Rachel love each other fiercely but sometimes love isn't enough. When they reach that point, it breaks my heart. I always look forward to this authors books because I know it's another grand adventure.

Great addition to this series. I was hooked from beginning to end. The story is fast paced with lots of suspense and drama. The sex is steamy and I loved the characters. I really liked it.

The third and final book that follows Duncan and Rachel brings us our first glimpse of Rapture's Edge, Rachel has a big secret that she doesn't know how to reveal to Duncan, Seer Megan has a big secret to reveal, and our next warrior to fall to the Breh-Heden is revealed. Rachel and Duncan still have not finished the Breh-Heden bond and all seems lost when a settlement of women and children is destroyed by Chustaffus. The story was enjoyable, a bit slow at times, but good. The moment Rapture's Edge is revealed was intense and when they finally complete the bond was passionate and perfect. I look forward to Owen's story next (at least I hope it is his story next). A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

Revealed, Book 3 of Rapture's Edge Trilogy by Caris Roane. I received a book from the author. The review I give because I want to. Lately I've been enjoying these books so much that I'm losing myself in the story and not paying attention that it's getting near the end. The last two (Revealed and The Veil) I got to "The End" and was shocked. The story does come to a conclusion, although the background story will continue. If you read this one you get a resolution to the couple in the story. This book continues Rachel and Duncan's story, along with a little of Owen and his breh-hedden Katlynn. Rachel and Duncan still have a lot to work out in the book, and it goes anything but smoothly. Nor does the 'revealing' of Rapture's Edge go smoothly, with twists and turns and a very sad moment that'll make you want to cry. Characters continue to grow and a big reveal (other than that of Rapture's Edge) is in the book. We have warriors showing moments of being human, and not the tough alpha guys they normally are. That's not the shocker. That's reserved for Endelle being the sympatric 'friend' … didn't know she had it in her, and we find a couple interesting things about her past during this dialog. Yep, the Queen of Snark is still around and has some of the best snarky lines, but it does show that she can be, well, for lack of a better word, sweet. (Makes you want to read it just to figure out what I'm talking about doesn't it).

Revealed is an awesome book that jumps right back into battle. If you haven't read the first two books you need to read them before you start this one. The story starts with our Black Ops team battling on Third Earth. With Rachel's shield and the teams emerging Grayle powers and visions the team can do what no other Second world ascenders have ever done. Fight and conquer third world death enemies. But each member of the team is sacrificing something and Duncan and Rachel are still struggling in their relationship. Endelle is still just as amazing as ever and still struggling with Rex. We get to meet some new people but also get to continue the journey with all the beloved characters that make up the black ops team. They are fighting what seems an impossible battle on Third Earth but the team is pretty amazing. We also get a little more insight into the enemies they are facing as well as their depravity and cruelty. I never imagined I could feel sorry for certain villains, and surprisingly I hurt for them as well. The story was fast paced, I love the characters as always, and Im glad Duncan and Rachel get a resolution. There were times I laughed, one scene made me cry, and I cheered for our heroes often as well. I did feel the book ended kind of abruptly, but that aside, it was awesome. I can't wait for the next one and I feel like Owen and his Katlynn are going to be incredibly important in the war against Chustaffus and his family. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

I love this author and have read everything she has wrote. This series if great and combines with previous series brilliantly. I like how familiar characters from previous book get a mention. Duncan and Rachels story has been a rollercoaster ride and really enjoyed it, a fitting ending. Looking forward to Lukens book and Endelles book, will it be Braulio or Rex? Rachel is struggling to come to terms with her new life as Forth Earth shield. She wants peace in her life. She cares for Duncan but he believes his past means that he's not worthy. He's a powerful warrior who carries childhood scars from an abusive farther and the loss of his mother. These two love and care for each other, but they both have issues with commitment. As the Third Earth enemies attack, can they save each others and the other warriors. What will happen when Duncan learns her secret? I enjoyed this story. It's filled with plenty of action, danger and unexpected twists. I liked catching up with familiar characters and seeing how the war against Chustaffus and Yolanthe progresses as well as the search for Rapture's Edge. I'm looking forward to the next installment so that I get answers. I enjoy the writing style of Caris Roane. She creates characters with depth and passion and her stories pull me in with their non-stop action. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader copy of this book.
