## WOW. I could not put this book down. I read this in one sitting because I had to know what would happen next.Whew, good thing my kids are away at college (no dinner schedule). Now it's 5AM and I'm not at all sorry I stayed up to finish this. I would recommend reading the first 2 books of the series which unfortunately I did not. I didn't know this was part of a series. So, yes I was a tad confused at the beginning of the book, but it was so intriguing I continued reading. So glad I did. I caught on to the story pretty quickly thanks to the author's brilliant writing. I adored this heroine. She was super smart, capable, strong, AND beautiful. The hero was the typical harda$$ but evolved beautifully. Thank you Ms. Blake for not portraying him as a manwhore like most billionaire stories. That sh*t gets old quick. Their chemistry was explosive and I loved them together. Do I wish HE would've gone after HER instead of the other way around? Hell yes. After all the hurtful things he said, that would've been my perfect ending. But such is life. Fabulous read.

5 Star Review Revenge (Lawless #3) by Lexi Blake. Wow what an epic book! I found myself riveted from start to finish. Of all the books in this series, this was the one I have been anticipating the most. There is just something about Drew Lawless that intrigued me and had me anxious to read his story and boy, what a story it is. This book was amazing, so much drama and suspense, it had me on the edge of my seat. I kept thinking to myself, just one more chapter and in the end I read all night. To fully get enjoyment and appreciate the suspense and brilliance to this story line you need to read the first two books in the series prior to reading Revenge. Revenge picks up where Satisfaction left off and tells the continuing story of The Lawless brothers Riley, Drew, Brandon, and their sister Mia, as they seek revenge on those they hold responsible for their parents’ murders 20 years ago. Andrew “Drew” Lawless has devoted his life to finding those responsible for the deaths of his parents; determined that they will be brought to justice. Strong, loyal, determined and passionate Drew is also lonely and vulnerable. Enter Shelby Gates, an investigative reporter determined to expose all the secrets of the reclusive Lawless family. Drew despite his misgivings knows that he needs her help if his plans for revenge are going to work. When he convinces Shelby into signing a NDA and working with him, Shelby agrees in exchange for the rights to write a book. Neither Drew otr Shelby count on the attraction and feelings that develop between them. Both are lonely souls who are drawn to each other. I loved how Shelby was able to handle Drew. This is a hard review to write as I do not want to accidentally spillll any spoilers. The chemistry between Drew and Shelby was sizzling. There was mystery, intrigue, suspense, hot alpha men and as you can expect from most books from Ms. Blake some moments of humour. I love Lexi Blake’s writing style; no one does romantic suspense like she does. I found myself shaking my head as I read Revenge as it is one of those books that in many parts, you read and go, wait, no, did that really happen?

I absolutely devour anything that Ms. Blake writes. I love her Masters and Mercenaries series. So when she started this new Lawless series I couldn't wait to read what she came up with. As always she did not disappoint with her expertise for telling an amazing story of love, lust, sex, suspense, loyalty, and family. The Lawless siblings lived a tragic young adulthood. Their parents were murdered but the public was left to believe their father killed their mother in an apparent murder suicide leaving their children to die in a house fire. The siblings survived thanks to the oldest Andrew Lawless who brought his siblings to safety in more ways than one. Forced to become the patriarch of his family Drew sets out at a young age to avenge his parents' death and attempt to take care of his siblings. As they each are put into separate foster care they all have their own stories to tell which you can read about in the previous books in this series. Drew always found himself putting his siblings and revenge before anything else. He is socially awkward and tends to have no filter. So when Shelby a reporter catches his eye the only way he knows how to get her in his bed is to manipulate her into doing what he wants. At times I wanted to slap him for being so cold but then I wanted to hug him because his life was never easy. Drew found it very hard to express himself. While Shelby had no problem at all telling it like it is. Loved her. As the last story in the series unfolds the Lawless clan find out more and more secrets about their parents and what really happened to them. There are so many twists, turns, and surprises but Lexi Blake knows how to hold your interest. It was a terrific experience to watch Drew and Shelby find their love of a life time. The chemistry between these two was insane. Shelby was just the right woman to keep Drew Lawless on his toes. Another exceptional Lexi Blake read for me. I hope she is able to find away to give us more of these wonderful characters.

Love Conquers Revenge This was a roller coaster of who done it, and oh hell no you didn’ts for me. I absolutely loved this series and it was an automatic to jump in since I am a fan of Lexi Blake. From meeting Mia in the Master and Mercenaries series with Case I loved where the series was leading. Alright please read these books in order, and if I have to be honest I would say that if you have the time and inclination to go alllllll the way back and begin with the Master & Mercenaries Book 01: The Dom Who Loved Me or if you don’t have time to go all the way back you could say that the Lawless action begins in Masters & Mercenaries Book 11: Dominance Never Dies with Mia & Case Taggert. Book One: Ruthless Book Two: Satisfaction Book Three: Revenge I don't think that someone that jumps in with this book will pick up the back stories and nuances of the side characters that ultimately pop up. Think about what I discussed above and where you are going to begin this journey. This book is an awesome book. From start to finish the connection between the main characters is very focal. The awkward and socially stunted tech guru (Drew) and the ready for the role investigative journalist (Shelby). If you were a fan of the Lawless family there is lots of interaction with Drew’s brothers and sister just for you. The heartbreak of these children’s lives was very emotional and I really felt this plot down to my core. As the eldest sibling I think that I related to Drew and his sense of responsibility. So for me any series that chronicles siblings resonates with me. Alright I am usually a pretty good judge of where the book I am reading is leading me, and what the conclusion is probably going to be, but this one had some lefts and rights that I didn’t even count on which was a splendid surprise. You will love it if you... loved any of Lexi Blake’s novels prior, love a complex love stories that didn’t start as a love story, want to read a HEA novel, a fan of Shayla Black cause I love both authors, wanna be kept at the edge of your seat, love romance novels, and if you love to read...so everyone should give this series and novel a chance.

It's a must read. I'm not going to talk about the story at all. It's one to be experienced with. Make sure you read the first two books in this trilogy first. You will not be disappointed. What started out as a family looking for justice and some Revenge.. They find strength in each other and see their is a bright future ahead.

This is the third book in the Lawless series by Lexi Blake and it’s about the most difficult of the Lawless boys and that’s Drew. The ongoing storyline of who killed the Lawless kids parents comes to a conclusion, and it’s quite a whopper of an ending. No big surprise though, Lexi is fantastic at coming up with some mega-amazing plot bunnies. And no, I’m not going to disclose any here. Drew has been dealing with pesky reporter Shelby Gates who has been trying to look into his parents deaths, but he’s been throwing road blocks at her, including lawyers. Now, he plans to use Shelby to solve the case once and for all, especially since he knows who the fourth culprit is and he plans on using Shelby to draw them out. He has her sign a contract, promising her the rights to the information so she can publish, but he has no intention on letting her keep that material. He also has her pretend to be his girlfriend. This would never backfire on him, would it? As always, I just loved this book, though there were so many times in this book I wanted to drop kick Drew for his behavior and how he planned on treating Shelby. But, a happy ending was had by all. And just maybe we’ll get another book out of this series with Noah? Unless he crosses over into Ian’s world.

Revenge By: Lexi Blake ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Star Review by Kristie K The wonder that is Lexi Blake strikes again, bringing another epic fast paced romantic suspense with the Lawless boys… Revenge is the third and final book in the Lawless series, featuring the oldest Lawless brother, Drew. As the self-assigned protector of the family, Drew sets out to finish his plan for revenge against those that killed their parents. In order to do this, and keep his siblings safe, he needs help…and there is only one woman that has the skills he needs. Shelby Gates is one of the best investigative reporters there is, and she is the one woman that tempts Drew beyond any other. Together, they must dive head first into danger and deceit to unravel the web of lies, and get the revenge Drew lives for. The question becomes whether or not they can continue to keep everyone safe, including themselves. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Holy horde of monkey balls, Lexi Blake is the SHIZ-NIZ!! It seems like every book I read is better than the last. I don’t know how she does it. As with the previous Lawless brothers, Drew is completely drool-worthy. From his gorgeous shell, to his incredible intelligence, to the heart of gold that beats within. Shelby? Well, she is just all kinds of amazing wrapped up in one beautiful package, with smarts for days, and a heart like no other. She is kind, sweet, and brave. Not to mention sassy. I love her! Ms. Blake has her character development down to a science, and each new character brings something new to the table. They are complex, and authentic, with a realism that can only come from having a soul all their own. The plot and storyline are thorough, adventurous, exciting, devious, and downright amazing. No one brings a story to life quite like Lexi Blake. Her writing style is all her own, and something I truly love. The Lawless boys may be done, but I can’t wait to see what adventure Ms. Blake has in store for us next. Kristie K

The wrap up of the lawless series was well worth the wait. Drew is alpha male and a total geek but Shelby is his equal and brings out his soft, loving side. Iris is a great villain and it is great to see how the Lawless family finds peace.

: REVENGE is the third and( final ?) instalment in Lexi Blake's contemporary, adult LAWLESS romance series focusing on the Lawless siblings-Riley, Drew, Brandon and Mia. This is eldest sibling/ billionaire businessman and CEO of 4L holdings Drew Lawless, and journalist /investigative reporter Shelby Gates’s story line. REVENGE can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion as each installment focuses on revenge and retribution for a twenty year old murder that is beginning to unravel as the truth is revealed. There is a bit of a cross over/spinoff with Blake’s Masters and Mercenaries series with the appearance and ongoing role for Mia Lawless and Navy SEAL Case Taggart (Dominance Never Dies), and the McKay –Taggart Security Service. Shelby Gates was first introduced in the previous story line as she begins a journalistic investigation into the Lawless murders. SOME BACKGROUND: Twenty years earlier Benedict Lawless and his wife Iris were killed in a house fire intended to kill the entire family-a murder for hire where greed and power were the precipitating factors. The authorities ruled it a murder/suicide but the Lawless siblings are determined to clear their father’s name. NOTE: SATISFACTION (book 2) ended on a cliffhanger where identities were revealed and the truth was beginning to unfold-a twist to the story line that will have epic repercussions for the entire Lawless clan. Told from dual third person perspectives (Drew and Shelby) REVENGE continues to focus on revenge. As the eldest sibling, Drew Lawless has focused most of his adult life on proving his father's innocence while hunting for the person(s) responsible for the destruction of not only his family but his trust in everything and everyone. When investigative journalist Shelby Gates uncovers more information than Drew ever thought possible, our hero makes Shelby an offer she couldn't refuse-a pretend lovers scenario in which Shelby has complete access to the family's history and legal documentation in return for a promise that will never come to fruition. What ensues is the building relationship between Shelby and Drew, and the struggle to come to terms with the revelation of the who, what and why and his parent's murder. The relationship between Drew and Shelby is one of immediate attraction but Drew needs to keep Shelby within reach as she slowly uncovers the facts and legitimacy of the Lawless murders. Threats are made; promises made never to be kept; the past comes back with a vengeance in the hopes of destroying what is left of the Lawless clan. The $ex scenes are intimate, intense and seductive but Drew has made no promise for the future, a future he is determined to go forward-alone. All of the Lawless siblings play secondary and supporting roles, as well as Case Taggart (McKay-Taggart Security), and one of Benedict Lawless's former partners Bill ‘Hatch’ Hatchard-a man who all but raised the Lawless siblings once he was able to determine their foster care history. I had previously suspected there is a story about Hatch, and his role in the entire family saga-a family he considered closer than blood-and my suspicions have come full circle when the truth is revealed. Again, there is another twist to the story, and perhaps, a final chapter that has yet to be fully addressed. REVENGE is a story of heartbreak and betrayal; retribution and revenge; secrets, lies and uncovering the truth.

Definitely my favorite book of the series!!! We get answers to everything we've wondered from the beginning, and all starring my favorite Lawless, Drew. He's the perfect combination of broody alpha and complete nerd. And Shelby is PERFECT for him. She doesn't let him get away with anything, and the chemistry between these two is intense. There are twists and turns in this book, and Lexi Blake pulls out all the stops in this romantic suspense. A fantastic addition to this series!! I would definitely recommend one clicking!!!

Review: REVENGE (A Lawless Novel) by Lexi Blake Publication Date: June 20, 2017 Genre: Contemporary Romance Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Cori Rated: 5 Stars I thought Bran was my favorite Lawless brother, but Drew won me over and nudged his brother out of the way. I completely fell in love with him. I can't resist a nerdy alpha hero. In the previous books I thought Drew was cold and unfeeling, but this book revealed things in his past that contributed to it. He's the oldest Lawless sibling and when their parents were murdered he took care of and protected his family and still feels the need to protect and take care of everyone he loves. Shelby was perfect for Drew and I just loved them together. Their chemistry was fan your face hot! REVENGE had plenty of hot romance, suspense with some twists and some humor. I couldn't put it down and thoroughly enjoyed it! Lawless series is a spinoff of Lexi Blake's Masters and Mercenaries series. The series has a book for each of the brothers in the Lawless family, but their sister Mia has a book in the Masters and Mercenaries series, Dominance Never Dies. You don't have to read it before picking up the Lawless Series, but if you want to follow the complete storyline I'd read it first. REVENGE is the third book in the series and I'd recommend reading the series in order and starting with the first book, RUTHLESS. I loved the Lawless series and highly recommend it for romance lovers looking for a great mystery/ romantic suspense series to binge read. It's going on my list of favorites. *Review copy provided by Penguin in exchange for an honest review. ~*~*~*~

4.5 stars for - Revenge - book 3 in the Lawless series by Lexi Blake. These books should be read in order so you can have a better understanding as to all that is going on with the Lawless clan. This is big brother - Drew's story and the one we have all been waiting for. This book picks up right where book two left off with Drew finally finding out the identity of the third person responsible for the fire with the help of a bulldog reporter. Shelby Gates was doing a favor for a friend when she stumbled across something that unlocked some of the secrets the Lawless family needed to know. Reclusive billionaire Andrew Lawless needs her help so he offers her an exclusive tell-all book deal to play a role, but the lines get blurred and the game turns dangerous. Shelby has to figure out what she wants before it's too late. Drew Lawless is the CEO of 4L software, the oldest brother of the four Lawless siblings and a bit of a skeptical jerk. He was the one who got his siblings to safety the night of the fire and discovered his parents lifeless bodies. He also worked tirelessly to build 4L so he could provide for his siblings. The one thing that has driven him to succeed is the need for Revenge on the people that killed his parents. Now that he has all the information he will sacrifice anything and anyone including himself to get it. This book was the culmination of all the secrets and lies that were weaved together and it was nothing short of fantastic! I have to admit I was a bit leery to read this one as book two fell a bit short for me and left me wanting more, but this one was the best of the series for sure. Mystery, murder and danger all wrapped up with Blake's signature seduction made this book an instant winner for me. While this series is technically over fans of the author know we will probably see them again down the road :)

4.5 STARS Drew's one goal has always been to bring the murderer of his parents to justice. He followed it single-mindedly and left no room for distraction. Well, until Shelby walked into his organized life. Drew's plan to bring her on board to investigate the murder is well thought-out. Slap a NDA on the table, along with a contract including an irresistible offer, the story of Shelby's life and everything is just peachy. Our smart investigative reporter doesn't read the small print though and only later she will learn what the ingenious CEO of his programming company is capable of. She is fascinated by the twists this case has and she WANTS that story. It doesn't hurt that Drew is veeerry easy on the eyes (nerd!) He offers her protection and she offers her connections. Their relationship escalates quickly and soon their very souls are at stake. Drew is a jerk. No way around. But he has a reason and that's why I could forgive him. Drew was the one who found his parents murdered in their house when he was 14 years old. He was also the one who saved his siblings from the fire in which they would have most likely died, too. Ever since he has been the one everyone relied on. This hero sacrificed pretty much everything so that his siblings would want for nothing, that they could be together again. He lived pretty much in the past from the day he lost his parents up until now. Oftentimes you get a glimpse of the boy who never moved on so I really understood why he was so focused and would not have anything stand in his way. He also has an endearing sort of naivete about him when it comes to relationships. His enthusiasm for Shelby is adorable. Drew is a master manipulator, he knows how to direct people to get them where he wants them. At the same time he keeps most people at arm's length. No one can ever see his demons, not even his siblings. When Shelby crashes into his life, though, he didn't anticipate this sweet yet strong, smart woman. He pushed her away a couple of times and, yes, he did irritate me with his behavior but I still could see that he had never learned to let anyone in. And when he finally did it was amazing. No better grovel than a man on his knees. Literally. Shelby is a clever, observant woman with a quick mind so I did not understand why she didn't read the contract completely. She also has an endless capacity of compassion and understanding for Drew and how he handles things but the way she deals with him was amazing. She sensed that the guy was still this lost boy sometimes and just needed a hug. There is so much patience for this troubled man but also a backbone of steel. One thing I didn't appreciate was Charlotte (Masters and Mercenaries series, Love and Let Die) reacting to one Shelby's decisions and making her reconsider. Drew didn't deserve her kindness in that moment. I loved the banter and how Drew and Shelby gravitated towards each other. Their chemistry was off the charts. They are like night and day in their personality, she is trusting and he highly suspicious of pretty much everything and there is a stark difference how they react to similar situations. Drew lets the anger get the best of him and Shelby is like a balm for his soul. I felt satisfied that the villain received their rightful punishment. The only thing that I found missing was an epilogue - it is the conclusion of a series after all. Lexi Blake has completely won me over with Drew's story. Her writing is effortless.
