About the Author

Kyle Starks is a two-time Eisner-nominated comic creator from Southern Indiana. He is best known as the longest tenured writer and occasional artist for Oni Press's Rick and Morty comic. He was nominated for Eisners for Sexcastle and Rock Candy Mountain for Best Humor Publication.

Pamela Ribon co-created and currently writes the roller derby comic SLAM!, and has penned guest issues of Rick and Morty. Her screenwriting work includes Moana and Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2. She's a bestselling author, frequent troublemaker, and true fan of you.

J. Torres is the award-winning comic book writer of Do-Gooders, Lola: A Ghost Story, Mighty Zodiac, Power Lunch, Rick and Morty Presents: The Vindicators, and Good Night, Gabbaland for Oni Press. He’s also written Archies, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Batman, Degrassi: Extra Credit, Simpsons, Teen Titans Go, and other comics. J. was born in Manila, grew up in Montreal, and currently lives in Toronto. His favorite robots include BB-8, Giant Robo, Iron Giant, Rosie, and WALL-E.

Magdalene Visaggio is the Eisner- and GLAAD Media Award-nominated writer behind Kim & Kim, Eternity Girl, Dazzler: X Song, Transformers vs Visionaries, and Morning in America. A lifelong comics reader, she studied English at Virginia Commonwealth University and did graduate work in Ethics & Moral Theology at Seton Hall before dropping out to focus on writing comics where people hit each other with guitars. When not writing, she’s probably passed out on her couch at three in the morning with a cat on top of her while Netflix asks if she wants to continue watching Star Trek: The Next Generation. She lives in Manhattan.



Delilah S. Dawson is the New York Times best-selling author of Star Wars: Phasma and the writer of the Blud series, the Hit series, Servants of the Storm, and the Shadow series, starting with Wake of Vultures and written as Lila Bowen, not to mention numerous short stories. With Kevin Hearne, she co-writes the Tales of Pell beginning with Kill the Farm Boy. She writes the creator-owned comics Sparrowhawk and Ladycastle and has written comics in the worlds of Adventure Time, Labyrinth, The X-Files Case Files, Star Wars Adventures, and Star Wars Forces of Destiny. Marc Ellerby is a comic book illustrator from the UK. He is probably most known for his work on the Rick and Morty comics from Oni Press and [adult swim]. He has worked with companies such as Disney, Warner Bros., BBC, Hasbro, and Cartoon Network. However, he is never as happy when he is drawing his own comics, such as Chloe Noonan: Monster Hunter or the autobiographical diary comic Ellerbisms.
