Philippe Thirault is a French novelist and comics writer who was born in Paris in 1967. In the late 1990s, he published the novel Feathered Serpent, the trilogy Hemoglobin Blues, and his first comic series, the critically acclaimed Miss: Better Living Through Crime. He has since become a very prolific comic book creator, writing series such as Thousand Faces, The Hounds of Hell, Balkans Arena and Mandalay. He often writes stories with a historical or fantastic setting and runs writing workshops in Paris.
Born in 1957, Bruno Lecigne is a writer, essayist, scriptwriter, and literary director. He is the author of a dozen SF and detective novels, about thirty short stories, and various essays and articles on comics. He received the Grand Prix of French science fiction in 1981 for his short story La Femme-escargot allant au bout du monde. Literary advisor and co-director of the Fleuve Noir collection, he was the first editor of Calvin&Hobbes in France at Hachette, and then successively held the positions of publishing director and general manager at Humanoids, working in particular with Moebius, Schuiten, Margerin, Gimenez, Manara and Jodorowsky; among others, he published the works of Nicolas de Crécy and Monsieur Jean by Dupuy&Berberian. He is the author or co-author of more than sixty audiovisual works broadcast on French television. In 2016, he received the Best French Fiction Series Award in Cognac for Cassandre (co-written with Mathieu Masmondet - France 3). He also co-created the series La Doc' et le Véto for France 3. Although he continues to support various writers in their work for Humanoids, he currently devotes himself mainly to his work as a writer for television and comics. He currently lives between Paris and the village of Saint-Andéol, in the Vercors (38).
Sam Timel is an American author best known the series Milan K., Sapiens Imperium, and contributing to Redhand: Twilight of the Gods. Part Two of the Belzagor adaptation, "The Children of Belzagor" is his fourth work with Humanoids.
Laura Zuccheri is an Italian artist who has worked on numerous Italian publications including Ken Parker magazine, The Condemned and Hardware (Sergio Bonelli). She won the The Grand Guinigi Award for Best Art at Lucca Festival for her handpainted work in Swords of Glass.
Adrien Villesange was born in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges in 1967. Attracted to drawing from an early age, he worked as a draftsman and storyboard artist in an advertising agency before branching out into art direction. In 2007, he drew two volumes of the Hypertext series for Delcourt, based on a script by Sébastien Viaud. More recently, he took part in Thomas Cadène's Les autres gens collective series for Dupuis, and drew for Topo magazine. In 2021, he returned to comics with the latest installment of Robert Silverberg's Belzagor series. He lives and works in Paris.
