Summary Not as good as the usual book from Bianca D'Arc. “Rocky” is anti-climatic – the battle, the romance, the drama are all over before they even begin. However, there is still some good fun to be had and the baby bears are adorable. Tingle Factor The sex is lukewarm. Apparently grizzly bears aren't wild in bed. I will cut them some slack though because they're new parents. It's not the sexiest time in anyone's life. Picture gettin' busy to babies' cries instead of Marvin Gaye's “Sexual Healing”. Romance This book is all about the romance. Lost loves reunited with mystical approval. Drama The heroine, Maggie, is on the run from evil forces and they have tracked her to her newest refuge. When they find her though, the fight seems a bit short for all the build up. Heroine Maggie is a bit insecure and never really shows the grit which supposedly kept her alive on her own for months. She is in an overwhelming situation where she fears for her life, just had twins, and is dropped in the middle of a huge pack of weres. The story would be more fun if she floundered either more or less. Maggie is very likeable though. Hero Rocky is a teddy bear who volunteers for everything before he's even asked. I'm not sure I'd be able to respect him in the morning. He does sound very cuddly though.

Okay, I really like and enjoy re-reading the books in this series - plus book 1 of the String of Fate series ( Cat's Cradle) which are so connected to each other that it's sort of a Celtic knot of stories. This is one of those stories that has you wishing that you were part of the family/pack. Everyone lending a hand where needed and welcoming the human widow with open arms. I also enjoy the way Ms. D'Arc brings her main couple together BEFORE the last chapter and they face the foe together - hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder. Definitely on my re-read list.

Bear Shifter! and Baby Bears! I forget how spicey sweet D'Arc's paranormals can be. This certainly was one of those. We have a little action adventure but mostly we have a second chance love story between a hunky grizzly shifter and the girl he always loved who married his best friend.  There are newborn bear shifter babies in the mix.  Fun stuff!

The basis of the plot was a great concept, but it seemed to drag on forever. This is a book with shapeshifters in it; not a book about shapeshifters. At least that's how it seemed to me. I actually put the book down several times, only a stubborn will to finish made me return to this book. I can't pin point exactly what lost my attention. The characters seemed real, brave, honorable, and odd. Overall a good book to while away the time, but it is not making it way onto my favorites shelf.

Good Book. I felt like I was missing some parts that was part of the serials that I did not read. But all in all a good read.

excellent story. I've read others in series, even though they don't seem to tie in together they do.

Boring is the nicest word I can think of for this story. Dragged on forever. Won't be reading anymore from this author.

I really enjoyed this story even though it was only about 110 pages. It was a very moving story of long lost love being found. There was just the right about of sex involved, and not so in-your-face. I could really feel the love between all the characters. I can't wait to read the next in the series.

I knew starting this book I enteted a series I must start from the beginning. There was enough of a backgroung that I did not feel lost. This was a very warm and huggable read.

I'm behind since this is the first book I've read in this Were Series. But this story was great from the very beginning. You have a very pregnant Maggie about to deliver twin babies who are were-grizzly bears and an a long lost friend who helps her which a were-grizzly also. Add to that there's a evil demon tracking Maggie and her babies. Its a story I thoroughly enjoyed.

I've never read about bear shifters before. I agree with another reviewer...Rocky is a bit of a pushover and at times it hard to see anything entracing about him The fact that he never got over her or moved on is a little pathetic actually. Maybe an unresolved threesome would have made me like this book more. The sex is just okay. It seems a little forced because somewhere because who has time to have sex when you are raising newborn twins and trying to save the were-race? I will probably check out a few more of her stories.
