J.E.B. Spredemann captured me in the first few lines of Rosabelle’s Story, An Amish Fairly Tale Novelette. The relationships of Rosabelle (Belle), Amos, Sabrina and others were developed and each personality showed through in their actions, thoughts and conversations. The different world of the characters tied together perfectly showing God does work all things out when faith and love for Him is strong. This novella is a parallel to Beauty and the Breast with Spredemann doing an exceptional creation of her characters to discover what truly was important in life being it’s not the outside beauty but the inside beauty of the heart. Who and how will the characters discover this in their own lives? I look forward to reading more of J.E.B. Spredemann’s novellas. She writes from her heart with a focus on God’s love and faithfulness to one and all with characters that will stay with you when you close the book. I received a complimentary copy of Rosabelle’s Story from the author as a winner on a Facebook Party Chat with the author. I was not required to write a review, but have expressed my honest opinion.
