This is another great read from Ms Chance, the first in her new series about the Rule siblings. It's got that perfect 'trademark' Lynda Chance combination of true romance, a proper tale, characters who you can visualise and who stay with you, plenty of hot, sexy, erotic sex (yes, I'm referring specifically to the bit in against the glass in the highrise - there must have been some major condensation going on, with all the steam, LOL!) and it ends in thekind of HEA that I, as a fan and as a lover of romance, totally need. It didn't disappoint in any way. Hopefully book 2 isn't that far off, and from what we saw of Nick and Courtney's interactions, it'll be another scorcher. Thanks Ms Chance, for a wonderful read. Please keep 'em coming.

AMAZING! This was an amazing book. I love Lynda Chance's books, and this new one did not disappoint. I devoured it in two hours and thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't wait for next book.

Another great read from Lynda Chance, money worth spent!!! I'm addicted to all her books, and this one does not disappoint. I loved both the main characters, Damian was such an alpha male. I loved that Angie stood up to him, the chemistry between them was hot!! The secondary characters were great too, cant wait to see what happens next. And like all her books there was a HEA.

## As per the norm with a Lynda Chance book, Damien was an ass*ole. But I do love how fierce and possessive he was. Just not all the insults. And thank you Ms. Chance for not writing the hero as a man-slut. Yay, that was refreshing. We did not hear much from the heroine after the first chapter. She was too busy stumbling, trembling, and quivering. I did enjoy most of the book but I wish the author would've given the couple more time together outside of bed. Supposedly they spent time together but only the sex was described. Nothing more. And I absolutely hate when a book jumps 'several months later'. That deprives us of the pleasure of getting to know the characters. It did state that they had hot sex every night. So, although I was a tad disappointed, I still had fun reading this book and will be reading it again.

The premise was ok, but the storytelling left much to be desired.  For one, it was short - a novella.  Because of this  it jumped around to much and left too much time unaccounted for.  And two there was very little character development. I had tons of questions left unanswered.  This was very poorly written.

How could angie expect respectable talk from him when her language was just as filthy...why pople think they have to use filthy language in just about every sentence proves they illiteracy. I dont live in the dark ages but if i want a guy to respect me, i sure wouldnt use the filthy talk that writers think they need to use in their work!

Damian seemed almost on the verge of abuse especially when he was mad and he always seemed to be pissed about something. I was waiting for him to hit her, choke her or lock her up, in a nonconsensual way... The girl didn't really stick up for herself either. It was just a strange book for me.

Short but very good read. The story had everything: attraction, sexual chemistry, drama and a HEA. It is nice to read something that has it all. I am looking forward to other books by this author for this series, next is Rule's Property.

I've been waiting for this kind of alpha male for months! Loved Damien's all-encompassing want for Angie. The ending was amazing. Could have read the story for many more pages, but not a deterrent to enjoying the book. Lynda has the alpha male down pat. I wish they would have more scenes of just togetherness, but I'll take it just the way it is. Can't wait to read the next book with the brother as the Hero, "Rule's Property".

I love Lynda Chance!  I buy her books by her name alone because I know she's going to have a great story and an Alpha worth the insomnia...

Wow ! I've said it before but it needs repeating. Linda Chance does alpha males like no other. They are not mean or necessarily bad. Just very possessive and they love with an intensity that is wonderful. The love making scenes are the best. My only complaint is this book was too short. Would have loved more info on the main characters. But, I loved the book.

HOT HOT HOT! I always fall in love with a LC alpha - she writes them better than anyone - and Damien was no exception. A little short, but well developed characters and storyline. Can't wait for the next in this new series, Nick and Courtney's story, hope she writes fast!

1 of Ms. Chance's best books (I've read 14)...Damien is all serious alpha & Angie is small, sweet w/ her own style!!! WoW the scenes were unbelievably steamy (make sure u r alone ;) ) ***109 pages w/ an Epilogue***

Not sure what other readers liked. Alpha male... no a,,hole is the word most would use. Give him some redeeming qualities to make him an alpha, otherwise he's just abusive. His mother was the only likable character in story. This is the first book, out of about 700, that I have ever given a 1 star. Usually I have something positive for most books but just found this story really lacking in the characters, plot, and writing style.

It was ok. The sex scenes were hot. But the guy was way too possessive, almost to the point where I thought he'd start beating her at any moment. I did not like that at all. I was in a relationship once with a possessive man and reading this book just brought back bad memories.
