Jean Oram grew up in a small town in Alberta, Canada and her experiences have inspired her Blueberry Springs series. But while Jean grew up in an old schoolhouse tending to the family's honeybee operation, her characters haven't! Well, not yet, anyway.

Jean loves to ski (downhill and cross-country), hike, camp, read, write, watch romantic comedies, and say random things like "Buckle your seatbelts, kids, Mama's driving!" in order to make her kids crack up.

She lives in Canada with her husband, two kids, and very large dog.

This was my first book by author Jean Oram and what a delightful book to read. I was swept up by the entire book and couldn’t put it down. It’s always refreshing to read a sweet romance and this is one I certainly recommend. The characters were all so true to life and well written which just made you fall in love with them and Blueberry Springs. The story was about Jen Kulak who ran away from a bad relationship and ended up in Blueberry Springs as a tour guide in the forest. She’s under investigation for starting a major fire and meets Rob a fire investigator. While Jen is trying to convince Rob she didn’t start the fire, her heart seems to be heating up for Rob. It was a great book to find out not only who started the fire but also what happens to the fire between Jen and Rob. I look forward to reading more books in the Blueberry Springs series.

Dew~
&nbsp Dew had never run so fast in her whole life. Once she started to run, she ran faster. She didn't stop, she ran. Her paws pounded on the muddy leaves spread out like a carpet on the forest floor, and didn't stop until she noticed it had started to rain. She stared ahead. /My brother escaped in the rainy weather. We got separated by rain./ As she thought that, her paws skidded to a halt on the slippery floor. She found a small area of no rain beneath a large oak, and stayed there.
&nbsp The sun slowly dissapeared, and in it's place came the moon and the stars. The stars shimmered, sending out twinkling sparkles of light. The moon's cool glow reminded Dew of her brother's eyes, unwavering and confident. She settled on her paws, curled up to keep herself warm and drifted into an uneasy sleep.
&nbsp Slowly, the moon sank once more and the stars faded, leaving just the cheerful sun to send out it's beautifully warm beams. They stretched to touch Dew's wet body, and she lifted her head to welcome to warm rays of sunshine. /I must keep searching for him./ She thought, and got up.
&nbsp She felt hungry, and so she decided to catch some prey. She padded around for a while, then her ears pricked up. The bushes were rustling!! She lifted her nose. Mouse!! Happily, she dropped into a crouch. Her ears flattened, making herself smaller. She crept forward, eyes fixed steadily on the mouse. It seemed to sense something, as it dropped on all fours and scampered away. Dew ran and blocked it's path... Just in time. She had a good peice of prey.
&nbsp After eating the fresh-killed prey, Dew continued searching for her brother. Suddenly, she hit apon a scent trail. It smelled like one of the cats she met the day before. There were two more cats today. Two toms and one she-cat. Were they searching for her? She pricked her ears and started to trace their scent.
&nbsp She lost their scent near a bush, and she had to give up. She lifted her head to see if their scent had really gone, and was suprised to smell may different cats. She turned, and saw a large stone wall. One scent struck her mind like stone. It was the bigger tom she saw the day before. /Was this a clan?/ She thought to herself.
&nbsp Just as she was thinking that, she heard pawsteps coming out the camp entrance.

~{Okay, that was a but hurried. I have to go soon, so excuse me for any errors. Please comment!!}~
~Haunted &#8251 Spirit
