Overview

Just how gross can Sam make that sandwich he’s giving to his sister? Lift the flaps to find out! A classic kid-pleaser, back by popular demand.

Sam’s sister wants a very special sandwich, so he does his best to oblige. Lettuce, cheese, tomato, salami, and so much more. Just unfold each layer to see what surprise he has slipped underneath—if you haven’t already figured it out from the hints in the rhyming text! Served up as a sandwich-shaped book with a gruesome guessing game on every spread, Sam’s Sandwich is a delectable gift for little terrors.

This is an incredibly creative and fun book! Sam's sister makes him a sandwich full of nasty little critters or items that the reader must uncover on every page! Some cute rhymes and very fun pictures!

I recieved this book as a gift when my daughter was born in 1992 and have given it many times over. Sam's Pizza is even better, but it seems to be out of publication.

This is by far the most requested book to read at naptime for my daycare kids ages 2-6. We all enjoy it and the kids try to guess which bug is under the flap. We have read this book so many times that we have it memorized.

When my brother was a young boy, I used to have the best time reading this book to him. The pop-out pages and eclectic writing, made for an enjoyable experience no matter how many times we read the book.
