About the Author

Thomas Saueressig is a member of the SAP board and leads SAP Product Engineering with global responsibility for all business software applications. This includes all functional areas from product strategy and management to product development and innovation, as well as product delivery and support. He is responsible for a portfolio that includes the SAP S/4HANA suite, SAP Digital Supply Chain, SME, SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, and industry solutions. Thomas is in charge of all development cross-functions at SAP, comprising the global SAP Labs Network, SAP Enterprise Adoption, Globalization Services, and SAP User Experience, as well as the overall quality of SAP software products ensuring a consistent level of scalability, reliability, performance, security, and data protection across all solutions for SAP’s customers.

Tobias Stein (Development Senior Executive – Head of SAP S/4HANA Architecture) is a software architecture expert with more than 22 years of experience with SAP’s ERP, Business Suite and SAP S/4HANA application and solution architectures. As member of SAP’s global leadership team, he is heading the cen-tral architecture unit in the SAP S/4HANA development organi-zation. He is a TOGAF-certified Enterprise Architect.
