An immensely satisfying end to an intensely emotional series.  This final installment in this mind-binding, boundary no-no series had it all really. At times it was intensely poignant yet funny and sexy, too. I started this series right after reading Falling Into Us , book 2 in another amazingly wonderful series by Jasinda Wilder. I didn’t read any in depth reviews for it and simply got sucked in by the great storytelling. I was therefore totally blind-sided by what happens at the end of Forever & Always (#1), then shocked and flabbergasted by the subsequent events that unfolded in After Forever (#2). Normally, I would have skipped a book series dealing with betrayal and redemption. I have seen the negative impact of betrayal in my own life so I avoid it in my fiction reads. However, I eventually found myself feeling a great deal of compassion for everyone involved. Jasinda Wilder did a fantastic job at showing all sides of this issue by using alternating POVs between the twins Ever & Eden, and the men in their lives, Caden and Carter. And although I saw the resolution coming, that didn't diminish my amazement at how they courageously resolved this family drama one bit.  Caden sums up these characters’ journey rather nicely to me: ‘Forgiveness is a choice, and so is love. Learning all this, learning to choose and to live and to love, messing up and being forgiven and trying again, it’s a rhythm. Getting up and living your life, despite hurting and despite mistakes, it’s a pattern. It’s the cadence of life.’

so here's the thing - I adore the Falling series. They are beyond wonderful However I read the Ever series and they feel like they were written by a different author. The scenes are way too graphic - in a not sexy way. I adore the writing in the Falling series, and hope for more like that and not these. I am not sure how that is possible - but they absolutely feel like they had a different writer.

Characters were real and personable. This is something that could happen in everyday life and I love books like that. Wonderful ending.

I read all three. Loved the development of the characters. Too much explicit sex. Skipped those pages. Interesting.

Took me only a couple days to read this because it was that good. Loved the parts about Traverse City because Im a northern Michigan girl and have spent a lot of time in TC and surrounding areas. But I feel in love with Carter in this book. This book does not disappoint!

I honestly have to say that I did like this book! I had a hard time with the second book, After Forever. But I had to see where this went and how she ended it. Surprisingly, I loved Eden and Carter's story. I didn't think I would be able to enjoy anything about Eden. But Carter was so good for her. I absolutely loved the Christmas Eve scene. I understood where Ever and Caden's issues were going considering what they have had to endure. Not may of us can actually say how we would react to what happened after coming out of a coma. So that is why I didn't fight the story. I actually liked the ending as well. So after much procrastination and angst in deciding to continue to read the trilogy after loving the first book so much, I am so happy that I did! This is one of those series that you will have to take a leap of faith on as I did. Jasinda is a phenomenal writer and is the main reason that I continued to read it. So thank you Jasinda!(

Seriously if you're going to make me cry my heart out in books one and two then you have to give me more in the end. I would have liked to know what happened with the statue of Britt. A few more lines about Eden and Carter afterall you told us every waking (and dreaming) thought of each character. Well after ripping my heart out at least I was smiling in book three.

What a wonderful triology!  This book took you through all the emotions of each character so well.  I loved how sweet Carter was to Eden.  He truly showed his devotion and love to her.  Ever and Caden have an epic love story.  I highly recommend this book.  It is a great love story!
