Servant Leadership in Hard Times

This essay explains the challenge faced by the Delphi brake assembly operations that were given notice in 2006 that they would be closing in 2008, but must continue producing high quality brakes during the final two years. By applying servant leadership principles, the brake assembly operations became the best they had ever been in safety, quality, on-time delivery and profitability.
