About the Author

Dorothy Stroud is an Oklahoman by birth and an Arizonan by circumstances. She taught Language Arts nineteen years in public school. Her poems have been published by REAL, Cadillac Cicatrix ( e-journal), Wisconsin Review, Haight Ashbury Literary Journal, Seattle Review, Zillah: A Poetry Journal, and several other kind publications.


She has a Bachelor of Arts in English with Home Economics and Psychology minors from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. She earned her Masters in Education from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. Although she has lived in Oklahoma, California, Alaska, and Arizona (for forty-nine years), she is now enjoying retirement with her husband and living in Willcox, Arizona.
