Overview

Deciding she needs a break from the problems that plague her at home, Maddie heads to a mountain lake for a week's vacation and finds more than she ever hoped for with a November romance. All is not idyllic, however, when she decides to stay at the lake. Flashbacks to her home in the desert disorient her. Photos disappear from her phone. Nightmares and headaches disrupt her nights and days. A jealous rival targets her. Maddie clings to Luke for answers, but only she can untangle the source of these troubling incidents.

About the Author

Mary Lee was born and raised in New York. After graduating from NY State University New Paltz, she heeded that voice which said, “Go West, young woman, go west,” and headed to California where she received her Masters degree in literature from Cal State LA. During her professional career, she moved from being a teacher to librarian to journalist, but enjoys being a novelist the most.
Over the years, Mary Lee has traveled through the United States, Europe, and Asia. Here in the States, she likes to explore the open spaces in the West and can often be seen traveling down the road in her RV with her cat.
Mystery/suspense/thriller genres have always topped her list of favored reading, so it is not surprising that most of her novels fall into those categories.
