Becoming an alcoholic at an early age, then converting to a crack addict, the experiences were crucial and detrimental. Because of the abusive childhood, which caused low self-esteem, there came a floodgate full of abusive men, shoplifting, betrayal, and many trips behind jailhouse doors. Until her children were taken away and put into the care of an abusive caretaker, did this crack addict realize the pain she was causing to, not only her children, but to herself as well. In one of her trips to jail, she gave her life to Christ, but once released she would see and feel the struggles of trying to stay clean, sober, and saved. Would she hold out until true deliverance came?
