Medusa is a goddess.  Did you say, a monster?  No, she's a goddess.  She's powerful, and ancient, and very little amused when Will, a mortal wizard, pulls her onto the mortal plane.  Merely to help him with his petty scheme, to claim his dead girlfriend Caroline out of Hades, after a supernatural prank went wrong.  He's lucky that Medusa doesn't kill him for such impudence.  He's maybe even less lucky, that she falls in love with him instead...  Approximately 9500 words.
