Everyone has them. Big ones. Little ones.
For Trevor Mayne and Jamie Vaughn, secrets and lies are how they've made their fourteen year friendship work. Don't talk about it. Ignore it and it won't be real. Pretend like everything's fine between the two of them.
Jamie can't live like this anymore. He's in love with Trevor, his best friend who just happens to be straight. Tired of hiding his feelings, he decides to walk away. From their friendship. From his hometown. From his business.
But before Jamie gets a chance to leave, a freak accident leaves Trevor with amnesia. A new blank perspective leaves him confused about the inconsistencies of what he's told his life should be vs. the feelings that he knows he has. Now those secrets and lies, that should be safer than ever, are suddenly front and center and changing everything between them.
Their world is at risk because their secrets and lies aren't the only ones at play here. There's a bigger lie out there and it could just destroy everything as they get closer and closer to the secret hidden in depths of the Snowcroft forest.

Snowcroft Lost (Snowcroft #1), Christi Snow Review from jeannie zelos book reviews I really enjoyed this novel, its got a great blend of sensual, sexy romance with a story that's bringing danger to Trevor and Jamie. I loved Jamie, he's been in love with Trevor for many years but...Trevor is straight and seems to be a real man- whore with a different woman every night. TBH at times I wondered just what Jamie loved about him, he seemed to be a real male tart, but we get to see another side to him as we meet him after the accident in which he's lost his memory. Its a scary time for him, and he holds fast to Jamie to help him understand whats happened. There's so many secrets though, and as his memory returns in snippets it becomes more and more dangerous for him and Jamie. There were times when the "old " Trevor came out in some of the agression and cliched things he says, but as we learn more of his past it's easier to understand him, and as Jamie knew him for so long and knew of his bigoted family I guess he understood Trevor. There's more here than just a romance, but a story of hatred and bigotry, of the awful things people do to try to "get rid of" the Gay...and then the measures people will go to for money - how some people will use any excuse to make a profit. There's lots of love, and some real heartbreak too. I hate when a main character dies, but sometimes it has to happen. It's sweet to think there's a HEA for everyone in a book, but in reality that doesn't happen, and if it did in fictionland then stories would get pretty bland and i certainly wouldn't enjoy them. Still, Christi promises that the character involved will get a HEA in a future book :-) The danger felt real, the story around it is sadly one that does happen - and the danger around it is just typical of the measures people will go to. There's love and happiness here too, sex and sensuality, mixed up with the danger and heartbreak and it made for a book I really enjoyed. Stars: Four, a great read. ARC supplied via Netgalley
I went into this book with a completely open mind, and I’m really glad that I did. This story was one that dragged me in from the first page and I couldn’t put it down until I had finished it all. The story starts out almost in the middle, we meet Jamie and find out how he feels towards Trevor, and what he plans to do on that. When he finds Trevor, his plans change. I was worried because the story starts with Trevor having amnesia and before he gets his memories back, he develops an attraction that he has towards his best friend Jamie. I was worried that it was one of those stories that was going to be too easy to figure out what was going to happen at the end. But I am glad that there were tons of twists and turns that happened that kept me on my toes. The one big thing that I was still left wondering, we never found out when he started those feelings, or when those feelings started. Of what was going on with him before the accident happened. Now granted, as the story progressed you could really tell that Trevor had feelings towards Jamie besides just friendship. And when Trevor did end up with his memory back, he still had those feelings. But I was still left wondering I think that there are some situations that happen during the book that are very hard to read and get through just because of the topic that was brought up. But I think that the author did an amazing job talking about such serious things. She did it with an extreme amount of consideration and respect. I do think that the author has an amazing start to a new series and I really can’t wait to find out what happens next. This is the beautifully written and emotional book, Snowcroft Lost by Christi Snow! Trevor and Jamie have many secrets and lies between then and this is also how their 14 year friendship has lasted for such a long time. For Jamie it's getting harder and harder to ignore his love for Trevor, his best friend who is straight. So the only way he can cope is to walk away from their friendship, his home and his work. Before Jamie gets a chance to leave everything he loves, his best friend Trevor has a freak accident which leaves him with amnesia. Now the fun begins with the secret and lies that should have remained hidden, could possibly be out and center for everyone to see. You will be shocked that Trevor wakes up gay and thinking maybe he was gay already, even though he was proclaimed to be a true ladies man. Just wait to see how this incredible story unfold as it will be mind blowing! My heart broke for what Trevor and Jamie went through in their past and really hoping that they can have the HEA that they actually deserve. It was such fun reading about these great characters as you will feel them so much and they will stay with you well past when your done reading this excellent novel. The author takes you on a wild ride that you will not be forgetting for some time to come. I loved how the author wrote about some of the serious issues that affect gay men on a regular basis such as abuse, prejudice and small town bigotry. The way Christi handled these issue was so realistically and beautifully written and I was extremely impressed with her body of work. I also enjoyed the authors style of writing so much as it's very detailed, thought provoking and very well researched. Lets not forget the steamy and hot MM love between these characters! This is my first novel by Christi Snow that I have read but one thing I know is that it won't be the last by any means. I highly recommend Snowcroft Lost to anyone who wants to read a beautifully written story of love, lust, angst, mystery and the unconditional love of two beautiful friends!
