4 stars I purchased Brides of Cedar Bend book 3 Something Borrowed by Lena Hart and this review was given freely. Jackson and his sister in law Truth heal after the death of Jackson's brother. Humor, loving friends, recovering from addiction, jealousy, a steamy scenes, and a spur of the moment wedding are just a few of the things that make this an emotional and heartwarming romance. Contains raw emotions and some violence.

This is one of those books that you feel all your emotions. I liked that the characters are written in a way that makes them feel real. At times you dislike them and others you are happy for them. Over all you can't help but love them. I really enjoyed the ups and downs that I felt while reading this book. It is a great story line and was well written. I think everyone would enjoy reading this book. Although this can be read as a stand alone, the supporting characters in the story will make you want to read all the books in the series.

“I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review.” A love story with lots of frustration, heartache and hope. They go through a lot in such a short period of time. Your heart hurts for them. Truth, the main female character has a lot more patience and understanding than I would have had. Does love win out in the end?

I hadn't read any of the books in this series, but Jackson and Truth have such a unique relationship that this story drew me in and made me want to read more and more. When I started this book I had no clue that it was going to take the direction that it did, there were times that it really pulled at the heart strings, but Ms Hart makes sure that we have our happy ending so it works out well. I really enjoyed Something Borrowed and I hope to read more from this author in the future.

If you're looking for a well written, engaging, emotional, sexy read, Something Borrowed is that and so much more. From the moment Jackson and Truth meet the chemistry is off the charts! And as the story progresses my love for them as friends and then as a couple only grows. It was a perfectly executed story that made me cry, laugh, and swoon like crazy. I highly recommend it!

This is the third book in the series. I had a hard time with how Jackson and Truth first met. That whole premise didn't sit well with me. I also had real hard time with Jackson. I wasn't a big fan of his attitude and the way he carried himself. I understood what drove him to that point, but it rubbed me the wrong way. There were some real sad moments that had the waterworks going. I love this series, but this book just wasn't for me.

Every life is full of surprises. Some good, others not so much. It's how we handle the ups and downs that gives us the strength to become who we are meant to be. Truth and Jackson are a complicated pair. From first meeting they got under each other's skin. He was the tough guy with the seductive eyes and the frustrating demeanor. She was a beauty finding her wings in a world, that was not always kind. Attraction was instant, but forbidden. Truth was a newlywed and Jackson's sister - in - law. When fate hands her a raw deal and tragedy comes knocking at her door, Truth must find the courage to make her own way in the world. Through the grief and uncertainty, she finds herself facing her past, following her heart and falling in love again. One brother captured her heart, will the other brother help her piece it back to together. Something Borrowed begins with a love triangle that is a heartbreak waiting to happen and ends up being a tale of hope for anyone who has loved, loss and found the courage to try again.

This is one of those books I could see as a made for tv movie or show. Girl married boy but life happens to throw a monkey wrench at them and well in all honest at his brother as well. Because of the monkey wrench being thrown at them it causes all sorts of issues for Trust and Jackson.... (the sister in law and brother in the story.) Boy am I being vague enough for you. Let me just say I do not like to give storylines away and this book is one of those books that if I say to much I might give the storyline away. This is one book that I started reading and the only time I put it down was to sleep. It is good... for me i really got into it and was visualizing different actors and actresses for the different characters. It is one of those books that made me go yep just share. Now I wonder who will be a bride next?

3.5 Stars This is book 3 in the Brides of Cedar Bend series and it features sexy Jackson Matoa and Truth Richards. It was fate. These two were meant to be together. She’s ready to move on...with him but he’s still so riddled with guilt for wanting his deceased brothers wife that he can’t move on. At first, the story line moved a little too slow, then it felt much too rushed at the end. I understand how the part of the story line with the “borrowed “ white wedding dress is supposed to fit in but it was so sudden and out of sync with everything else, that it didn’t really mesh with the rest.

Great addition to a great series This was a good quick read, Truth is a great character that just wants to help her brother in law out. Jackson is trying to stay away from Truth because he wants to honor his brother. I loved this story because you can’t but root for these two and of course little monster or daisy. To see Truth stand up for Jackson when he is hurt, when others laugh at him or when he is in trouble and daisy is taken away is amazing. This was a great story and Lena hart did a great job on this story and this series is great.
