Son of Barbados: A Canadian Journey is a biography of the late Eric Murray, a celebrated journalist who was born on the small West Indian island of Barbados and later emigrated to Canada. The book, authored by his widow Jessima Murray, chronicles the journey of Eric's childhood, his career in Barbados and in Canada, and his untimely death from leukemia. Jessima celebrates Eric's life with the many stories she relives from a perspective that is loving as well as reflective.
