About the Author

Michael Christopher Heron and Andrea Fort got their start in comics writing with Songs for the Dead in 2016, a self-published fantasy comic series about a young necromancer with a big heart. The series was picked up for publication by Vault Comics in 2018, and extended in 2019 with its follow-up series The Necromancer’s Map.

Sam Beck is a writer and illustrator living in Toronto. She likes to explore themes of identity and relationships through the lens of fantasy. Sam has done work with Dark Horse, Vault Comics, and BOOM! Studios. When she's not drawing, find her admiring the forests of northern Ontario or playing the ocarina and guitar.
