At first, fourth—grader Sophie only has two puzzles to solve: how to make friends at her new school and how to come up with a class presentation topic while in Florida on a work trip with her dad. But Sophie and her adorable dog, Vinci, stumble upon a larger problem: plastic pollution in the ocean and its threat to sea life.
