Star-Crossed with Scarlett by Shelley Munro is the sixth book in the Middlemarch series. In this book, a feline shifter named Scarlett is abducted from work by a dragon shifter named Ransom. After, Ransom gets Scarlett alone in his spaceship he talks her into going on an adventure with him. She agrees believing she will also get what she wants from the trip. This is the beginning of an amazing adventure tale and a surprisingly epic romance. I loved the character of Scarlett and how she was so incredible stubborn and unwilling to buckle under pressure. This is a really entertaining read that I loved. It’s a space shifter romance you won’t want to miss. Star-Crossed with Scarlett is an epic adventure filled romance.

Scarlett Mitchell can’t believe that she’s been captured by a dragon and once she learns of the dragon-man’s quest, she struggles with the blast of excitement and yearning that seizes her imagination. Ransom has been tossed into a living hell and everything meaningful to him is in danger unless he follows the orders of a prince lying in stasis. This ‘Middlemarch Capture’ romance is a riveting and original story with some fun, some fascinating and some delightful and unique elements that readers love. Scarlett and Ransom are two very strong characters that have some rockin’ chemistry and their romance is full fire, zest and sparks as their passions rise throughout their quest. Only the romance may just be doomed because of the Prince Kalim has his own agenda that includes Scarlett which causes no end to the emotional turmoil flowing from the pages of the story. The plot is fast paced with exhilarating suspense building throughout the story with adrenaline pumping danger popping up throughout their quest. This quest is full of deadly perils, intriguing characters, cute characters and deadly ones including a purple prince and that’s not including the volcano that threatens their every step which keeps readers on their toes as well and biting their nails in suspense. But this story has something more as well, it has passion, snark and a bit of fun gives readers an out of this world experience that they can’t put down.

Ransom a dragon shifter must follow the orders of Prince Kalim or everything and everyone who means anything to him is in danger. The prince wants him to deliver Scarlett, a feline shifter, to him. The only trouble with that is Scarlett is Ransom's mate. I really enjoyed this book.

A really good shifter romance. ❤️️ Scarlett is the youngest and only girl in her family and she is yearning to spread her wings, so to speak, and get out on her own. When she goes looking for more semi-precious stones on a nearby planet, she is briefly captured by Ransom, a dragon shifter and the landowner she accidentally stole from. While she thinks she made a safe getaway, she is mistaken. Ransom comes to her home planet and takes her back... but not just because he knows she is his mate. This is a book that will keep you on your toes right until the end and it is so worth it! As the sixth book in the Middlemarch Capture series, it does have crossover characters from the other books so it probably would read better read in the order it was written. But I can see reading it on its own fairly easy. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ransom kidnapped Scarlett for his evil Prince Kalim. Kalim wanted her for children, but he was currently underground in stasis. He had a psychic connection with Ransom and drained his energy. The story was quite interesting with their travels to find the Prince and the characters were excellent, especially Talon. Really good read!
