Stars in a Bottle

When you focus on just one thing, one person, and one goal for so long, you'll do just about anything to make it happen. Frankie Cooper has grown up surrounded by her outrageously eccentric family in the suffocatingly small town of Edenville, North Carolina. The problem is, even after her eighteenth birthday no one is ready to admit she's actually an adult. No matter how much she reminds them that it's not technically "running away" when she hops on a train and heads for the other side of the country, they just can't seem to let her go.

But when she's finally in the arms of the man she's been dreaming about, none of that matters. She's been in love with Maxwell for years and nothing will get in the way of her starting her life with him. All she needs to do is prove to her family how capable she is and surely they'll learn to let her go. What better way to do that than to crack open a seventeen year old cold case with some investigation skills she's been honing on her way to a career in journalism.

Will she finally convince her family she's ready to be on her own or will she come crashing back to reality and realize she's thrown a match on the bridges that should lead her back home?
