An interesting read from start to finish. The lead characters are amazingly strong and vulnerable at the time. They are easy to relate to and show a maturity in dealing with life that we can only admire. I love the fact that they are not afraid to admit when they are wrong and are determined to fight for their love. Highly recommended. No highschool science classes here but there is some definite sizzle and really fresh, ahem, food. Farmer Logan and food goddess Athena are passionate about their chosen fields but it takes them a few trials to acknowledge their true passion. I love Kait's Misfit Inn series because the misfits always come home. This book made its way home, too. Into my heart! Athena is the goddess of the kitchen and owner of the Olympus Restaurant until her boyfriend/partner deceives her and causes a career upheaval. She returns to her home in Tennessee at the Misfit Inn in Edens’ Ridge, and where her adoptive family, the Reynolds, live. Logan was a college student who dropped out during the last semester and decided to buy a farm in Tennessee and build an organic farm business. Logan and Athena had a fling a year ago at a Reynolds wedding and being a small town, they again meet with the help of the youngest adopted child of the Reynolds clan, Ari who is taking riding lessons at the farm. Their past relationship had ended with that one night but their friendship had continued for a while time after, until Athena had met her unfaithful boyfriend. However, the underlying feelings they had was something that they both shared. Logan is a patient person and wants Athena to realize home is where she now belongs but Athena feels she needs to prove herself again and has financial obligations that push her forward. Their story is definitely a believable situation in everyday life. People drift apart and then if the timing is right things could work out. Logan loses his patience with Athena and she rebels only to find out that Logan truly knows, cares and loves her. This book, part of the Misfit Inn series is another great accomplishment by Kait Nolan. If you haven’t read the others in this series, I strongly suggest you check them out. I received an ARC from the author and am writing a voluntary review. Keep those books coming, Kait !

“Stay A Little Longer” is another of Kait Nolan’s books that sucks you into the story. The story of Athena and Logan is truly romantic. The relationship between Athena and Logan is finally brought to its own story. Chef Athena returning to home after a traumatic event and Logan having been in the area and having never stopped thinking of her. My greatest recommendation is to read this book and fall in love with the characters. You will not regret it — as it is with ALL of Kait Nolan’s books. I really enjoyed this book. It was another book about just how much friends and family can be there for you even when you dont think you need it. I read the whole thing in one sitting! Kait Nolan really hit it out of the park with this one! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another wonderful Misfit Inn story! Logan and Athena, once again, make me want to be living there! Beautiful story as only Kait Nolan can tell! Every second of this book draws you in and makes you fell everything. Please, read this book (and the others in this series...or anything Kait Nolan writes!). A definite 5 star review from me!!!

I've enjoyed the other stories in the Misfit Inn series, but each story totally stands on its own. Though I think once you read one you will want to read the others. Kait Nolan's gift is writing stories that build a world of characters that make you want to be a part of it! Athena's world implodes - both her work life and personal life. To get some perspective and figure out what comes next, she heads home to her sisters at the Misfit Inn. Logan seems to be as steady as they come. The two had chemistry when they first met at her sister's wedding and it hasn't disappeared. I loved how they fit together. I love how they find ways together to build the future they want. I received an advance copy in return for an honest review.

ARC for honest review with no compensation 4.5 stars Stay a Little Longer is book 3 in the Misfit Inn series by Karl Nolan and a great addition to this series! This story is about Athena Reynolds a world renowned chef, who after catching her boyfriend in a very compromising position in their Michelin Star restaurant in Chicago, she has a meltdown that ends up on you tube..so not good...so she heads back home to Tennessee to figure out what is next for her life...helping her “sisters” in the Misfit Inn and reconnecting with Logan Maxwell her one night stand or leaving again to start over somewhere else... Logan Maxwell, owner of the up and growing organic farm has feelings for Athena since their one night of passion but knowing she belongs in Chicago at her restaurant he hasn’t pursued her...that is until he runs into her suddenly at the Misfit Inn and wonders why has she returned home? What happens next is swoon worthy, has secrets, lots of sparks, laughter, tears and rooting for this couple to find their way to a HEA!!

Athena has left her restaurant returned to Tennessee and the family inn to recover from a betrayal by her boyfriend/partner and her sous chef. What could be worse? A viral video that does not put her in the best light and damages her reputation as a chef. Logan now lives on the farm Athena grew up on. He left college and a career for the simple farm life. The two had a quick encounter the year before at a family wedding. Are they going to be able to work out how to get around all the issues that are facing them? Athena is torn, trying to decide how she is going to make enough money to support herself and her disabled father. She doesn’t think she has time for Logan. She has just gotten out of a bad relationship. But Logan hasn’t been able to forget their encounter the previous year. And he knows his farm should be Athena’s home again. Can these two work things out? Can they find their happily ever after? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Renowned Chef Athena Reynolds has run into a bit of bad luck at her famous restaurant in Chicago. Trying to escape all that is happened she heads back to her family at the misfit Inn. Little did she know she would run into Logan sure she had a one night stand with during her sisters wedding months ago. We can’t even hold onto that woman’s feet as the one you gave them not a long one Little did she know she would run into Logan sure she had a one night stand with during her sisters wedding months ago. Will things heat up in the kitchen again between the two of them or will Athena take a new job in California? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Feisty, stubborn Athena and calm, easygoing Logan - do opposites attract? You bet they do. Another great read about the Reynolds sisters, but don’t worry if you’ve never read about the other sisters, this is still a good stand alone read. However, I guarantee you will want to go back and read all of the other Misfit Inn books. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I always thought you could never go home again. Until I did. I am sure Athena felt that way also, though her father and circumstances would make her want to go home. She felt she needed the high paying gig of being a chef in a big city restaurant. When Athena's life in Chicago blows up in her face and she blows up in her kitchen, she quits and heads back to the family bed and breakfast to lick her wounds. Little did she know she would run into Logan again after their one night at her sister's wedding. Both of them still feel the draw to be together but Athena is sure she needs to go some place bigger while Logan is sure he is not leaving his land. Many little things bring the two of them together, not the least of which is that Logan owns Athena"s family home. Pick up a copy of Stay A Little Longer and find out if they stay together or stay apart. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love Kait Nolan. I feel like I've been waiting forever for Athena's book but, wow, it was WORTH it. SO worth it. Athena. I love her, but I wanted to shake some sense into her at times. This book made me laugh and cry. Logan is pretty perfect. He's exactly who Athena needs when she needs him and it made the story so perfectly written. If you haven't read the entire series, start now!

I really liked this book. The characters were great -- realistic and lovable with all their flaws -- and it was fun watching their love story unwind. The only reason I didn't go all the way to 5 stars was because I didn't think it worked perfectly well as a standalone book. As part of the series, it's great, but there are so many characters that, even though I did read the previous books in the series, it was sometimes confusing and hard to keep track of everyone. It would be great if there were a few sentences when characters are introduced in this book to remind us who they are from previous books. That would make it work better as a standalone. Also -- it was awesome to see my name in the book, even though it was a very, very small role. Loved that!! :) I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It feels a little like forever since we last visited the Misfit Inn, and I am so glad to come back. This pair was crazy-making to me. Logan and Athena have been dancing around their feelings for each other for as long as I can remember knowing them. I found myself yo-yoing back and forth between clapping my hands with glee that they were finally working it out and wanting to smack their heads together to knock some sense into them. I love how a Kait Nolan title always gives me what I want most from a book: a powerful emotional connection (including some heat and spice), a story that’s about more than just getting our lead couple together, and lots of moments that make me laugh (and do it with as much enthusiasm as I cry during the deeply emotional scenes). I’ve only just barely closed the book and already I can’t wait until we get to visit the Misfit Inn again. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
