Who the *beep* are you? 5 GOLD GIFTS And why do you smell like my mate? What’s your name, sweetheart? That smile. She’d confess everything to it. Spill her darkest secrets without a second thought. Stolen Kisses? More like Stolen Hearts! Mine to be specific! This is one of the sweetest holiday stories I have ever had the immense pleasure of reading! And by "reading" I mean living, experiencing, becoming a part of! I love, Love, LOVE how this truly is all about family! The updates, the inclusion of the whole Burrows clan had me in tears more than once! Especially at 2 pivotal moments! While this book is a tad shorter than her prior Black Hills Wolves, it definitely isn't short on ANYTHING!! Merryn's magic flows through this story making it one beautiful, romantic & special Winter Solstice! I love the small town, family feel of the whole story. The love & acceptance of the Burrows & their mates, extended family warmed my heart from the start! Never mind Sadie feeling like being wrapped up in a big ole' family but, I felt it too! I found myself chuckling lots, but when Sadie first gets there and walks into the gas station store... PRICELESS! No matter how long the story is, who the characters are, whether it's a new series of Merryn's or another book about friends, I love, Love, LOVE them all!! Merryn is one phenomenally talented author who is also blessed with a true, exceptional gift.

Sadie leaves her pack with a suitcase and a small box of memories in search of her grandmothers old pack and looking for a place to call home. Easton is trying to rebuild his life after years of cruel alpha but it is not easy for him. Sadie and Easton find comfort when they are near each other and they find hope for a new life together. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book. This is from the Winter Soltice Run (Black Hills Wolves) by the author.

This short novella is a heartwarming, charming and passionate bite-sized holiday read just right for whiling away a lazy afternoon by the fire with a glass of wine. Sadie's quest to find acceptance among the pack her parents' actions previously kept her from dovetails nicely with the broader notions of reconciliation and peace at Christmas. Her initiation into the pack is by turns sweet, then passionate, then funny as she and Easton explore their obvious romantic interest while also attempting to collect kisses from the clan matriarchs as part of the scavenger hunt. The author does a particularly good job of describing how overwhelming such a large, boisterous family would be for Sadie at first, having been raised almost exclusively by her mother and grandmother. Easton's patience in guiding her through the gauntlet of new relatives and pack ties, as well as his denial of his own needs as she comes to terms with her new life forms the basis of a beautiful holiday love story. This is an entertaining, quick read fans of shifter romance might enjoy for the holiday season.

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! Stolen Kisses is a sweet bordering on sappy holiday time tale. Sadie is running from a less than perfect situation and Easton is making the best of what life has handed him. Together they can be so much better. With the help of a large extended family these two can find home in each others arms. I will read this again and again when I need a pick me up.
