Short 43 page well-written story of magic plus an excerpt of next book; will not purchase next book because Tatiana is shallow enough to "hate" her seventh child because he is a son not a daughter. She is twisted.

A short 45 page story. It needs editing and ends in a to be continued in the next book. The story itself was interesting and kept my attention.

This is the kind of writing I crave—magic and clean romance in an intriguing story, set in times of yore. So glad to have found a new favorite author!

This is an interesting take on magic during the tegency period in London. I enjoyed the characters & the story. I would have given it 4 stars except for the poor editing. I have continued with this series & have found that the poor editing seems to continue in the others books in this series.
