Now Available - Stormy Weather anthology and the Stormy Weather Collector's Edition

The wait is over.
Questions will be answered.
And one last storm will threaten Deveraux Pack.

Kendall Carver knows one thing for sure - security doesn't last. Injured and on the run, a sinfully handsome stranger saves her life.

Cajun werewolf Burke Devereux learned his lesson 200 years ago. No humans, ever. No looking, no touching, no kissing and certainly no making love. Eager to escape his Pack's matchmaking attempts he heads for his cabin. But nothing could have prepared him for the raging blizzard or the beautiful woman begging for his help.

Burke's always prided himself on his self control but as things get cozy, desire sparks and old secrets are brought to light. He must decide how far he will go to protect her.

Stormy Weather #5
Paranormal Romance (werewolf, werecoyote, blizzard)

Her eyelashes fluttered for a moment and he held his breath, scrutinizing every tiny movement. Then those aqua eyes pegged him again and his breath came whooshing out. She looked totally out of it. Tired, sleepy, traumatized. But she didn’t panic in his arms. Perhaps she didn’t—

“Are you an angel?” she asked, her voice barely a whisper.

Her question startled a laugh from him. Damn, it felt good to laugh. For a man who prided himself on his easy going nature, he'd been far too tense these last few months.

“I’ve been called many things, but never an angel.” I was the guy cursing at you as you almost ran me off the road. I'm the idiot who can’t stop wondering who you are and what you're run-ning away from. And I’m the man who can’t stop looking at your lips, wondering what they’ll taste like.

A hint of a smile curved her lips and she laid a hand over his heart. “A fallen angel?”

i loved this book. I have read all Selena Blake's books, and stranded with a cajun werewolf is just the best. Such a great page turner that leaves you wanting more.

I would read it again, it was good. But I was a little disappointed on how short it was. My nook said 398 pages, but it skipped numbers & couldn't have been more than 1/2 that. I read this book within a few hours. So nothing against the book, just don't expect an in depth book here.

If you have a soft spot for the Big (and I mean Big) will enjoy this. I have a soft spot for big guys and I am so happy this big guy finally found happiness.

I felt like there should have been more. This is the 1st one I've read from this series & may have missed out on something. It kept you in suspense about the bad guys & then poof in 2 pages it was over. Ended too quickly. I would have like the last 50 pages to not have been so rushed. But all in all still a good read.

Love and family are at the very heart of each story in the Stormy Weather series. The culmination of the the series is Stranded with a Cajun Werewolf and I would deem it the pinnacle of the series. The story line is filled with intrigue, plot twists and action. The H/h are well layered with believable reactions to the pain in their past as well as their apprehensions about starting a relationship. Each has set up boundaries around their heart to avoid the pain of rejection only to come to the point that their willing to tear them down to have one another. I liked that they each reach a point where they find out that their walls were useless against the other. The battle scene with the bad guy is great but the revelation of who is behind all the mystery running through out the series was perfect. (I had my suspicions.) The sacrificial gift was beautiful.  Adult read

Last of the Cajuns! I read this story in the Stormy Weather Anthology. I love the Cajun Werewolves. Selena Blake has a way with paranormal characters; you can't help but love them. In this story the last of the Deveraux brothers' finds his mate and we learn some answers about the series storyline. It does help to have read the previous books especially when you get to the ending. The romance was sweet and steamy. I'll miss these werewolves. Perhaps in the future the author will decide to bring them back for another story. We can only hope.

Reviewed by: Crystal Book provided by: Publisher Review originally posted at Romancing the Book Stranded With A Cajun Werewolf was a great read. A large part of this book has to deal with family dynamics. When I started reading about Burke’s family, it made me wish that I had the kind of family that he had. However, my family was more like Kendall’s, so I can understand where she was coming from. I was never close to either of my parents. The author did a great job with the plot and I never felt I was missing out on anything, even though I haven’t read much of the series. I felt that it had a great flow. I enjoyed the characters. The way they pick and carry on just makes you laugh. It was great reading a book about shape-shifters and having them be so close. Loved the way they all look out for each other even though at times it would get on the other’s nerves. That’s how family is. This is only the second book that I have read in this series and I just want to say that I really enjoyed reading both. I will be having to add the other books to my wish list and reading them. That way I can read them in order and see more into each of the Deveraux’s lives and get more into how they do things. Thank you for writing such a great book. I would recommend this book to everyone.
