This book offers an informational text about weather within the context of one girl's day. Sun, rain, evaporation, rainbows, seasons, day and night are some of the topics covered in this informative and enjoyable book. While the topics are broad, the amount and style of the information presented makes it very digestible, even to students in the lower grades. The colorful ink illustrations are bright, clean and timeless and capture the importance of light and shadow in the text. This is a gentle introduction to some big scientific concepts and would be useful for lower elementary school science units. Highly recommended for public and elementary school libraries.
