A fun and entertaining paranormal read. It was quick but enjoyable. The paranormal aspects and the writing were my favorite parts of the story. I do wish the novella could have been a bit longer as we had just begun to get to know our characters when the story ended. I like the combination of having one paranormal character while the other is completely human. It made for an interesting combination. I found the sunstone plot to be intriguing and am interested to see how it plays out in the next story. All in all, I think these will be a great little series of novellas that I look forward to checking out.

Great Novella! This is a great book; this is the first book in the Cursed In Stone series by Lia Davis. Nate Wilson is an aspiring author, who needs some much needed space. He heads to the Oregon coast for some relaxation and hopefully to get the creative juices flowing. When a storm moves in and he sees a ghostly figure, he skids off the road and into a tree. Lucky for him he ends up in front of a Bed and Breakfast with a beautiful owner. Haylee Clark is the owner of a Bed and Breakfast, she is also a cursed witch. When they stumble into a hidden room and unknowingly unleash a dark entity, they have to work together to defeat the evil. If you are looking for a great book then you need to read this one. I am looking forward to the next book by this great author. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Received this book for an honest review from the author. This is a short story of about 68 pages so things will happen somewhat quickly. Witches, ghost and gargoyles will appear in this story. Come visit The Clark House in Lafayette, Oregon to experience the haunted bed and breakfast. No one stays for long. The right people will come together and lives will intertwine if the curse is not broken death is sure to follow. Breaking one curse will allow another one step closer to ending another’s torment.
