Overview

For one brief shining moment, the NFL franchise had three of the most renowned quarterbacks in league history in its employ.
Elway was the Broncos' executive vice president of football operations. Tebow was on the Broncos' roster as the returning starting quarterback. And Manning had chosen to sign with the Broncos as the team's new starting quartback.
When worlds collide...
-from Super Broncos

Woody Paige and Mike Klis, national award winning, hometown veteran sportswriters, are back at it again with the 2016 revised edition of Super Broncos! And unlike 2015's edition, this one has a happy ending. Paige and Klis take you behind the scenes of one of sport's greatest franchises, giving you a brief history of the Broncos, its players, coaches and owners, and a game by game analysis of the 2016 season that proves a comeback story is the best one to tell.

Featuring an updated foreword by Emmy Award winning sportscaster Jim Nantz.

Woody Paige is a regular on ESPN's Around The Horn and a columnist for The Denver Post. He has been a newspaper and magazine journalist, TV something or other, radio talk show host, author and bit actor for 50 years. He has covered more than 40 Super Bowls, 14 Olympics and every major college and pro sports event on four continents. Mike Klis has worked for The Denver Post since January, 1998, first as a Colorado Rockies/Major League Baseball writer. He became the Broncos/NFL beat writer in July 2005. Klis’ coverage of the Elvis Dumervil “fax fiasco” earned first place in 2013 Associated Press Sports Editors’ “breaking news” category. This is his fourth book.

Jim Nantz, the three-time Emmy Award winner and five-time National Sportscaster of the Year, joined the CBS Television Network in 1985. He currently serves as the lead play-by-play announcer for THE NFL ON CBS, including the Super Bowl; lead anchor of CBS’s golf coverage, including the Masters and the PGA Championship; and lead play-by-play announcer for college basketball, including the NCAA Men’s Final Four. In 2007 and 2010, Nantz completed a rare broadcasting triple by becoming the first commentator in history to broadcast the Super Bowl, NCAA Men’s Final Four and the Masters, all in the same year. Nantz recently repeated this trifecta in 2013.
