Suurya: A biographical novel about life in Undivided India, the partition and beyond

"Suurya" is a story based on my life experiences narrated through the protagonist, Suurya. The novel includes an account of my life as a child in undivided India, an eye witness account of the partition of the country in 1947 and of the struggle of refugees in Delhi, in its aftermath. The story follows Suurya through his trials and tribulations of growing up in turbulent, uncertain times as he moves away from his roots, while in his heart he never really gets very far.
