Overview

A Must-Read for any Job Seeker in Hollywood (OhlalaLand), person bored at work, or anyone who wants to smile!

Imagine a job interview on Mr. Toad's wild ride down the rabbit hole through the land of Oz with fantastical creatures of wonderland narrated like the cult film classic A Christmas Story.

Tale of a Job Interview at OhlalaLand premiered in French (Entretien d'Embauche à OhlalaLand) at the 29th Book and Press Fair in Geneva, an event that welcomed more than 95,000 visitors. The book received positive editorial and literary bloggers' reviews in France and Switzerland, and was listed as the first of the "Must-Sees" at the fair by the national magazine L'Hebdo. It also made the front page of La Savoie.

The book is now available worldwide it its original English version.

Could Job Fantasy Become a New Literary Subgenre?

Have you ever had enough of emailing your résumé without ever receiving any response? If so, Stephanie's story is YOUR story.

Stephanie, the author, decided to take her pain and frustration and turn them into something productive: writing a fairy-tale-like story about herself going for a job interview at the studio of her dreams. "Since no one wants to give me a job interview, I'll create my own!" She traded her résumé for a book!

The STORY: Once upon a time..."Baby girl born with teeth, starts talking to obstetrician and midwife about her gestation experience!" Indeed, Stephanie was born to tell stories like the ones that inspired her entire childhood, the stories from OhlalaLand Studios. Hoping the legendary studios will recognize her skill as a storyteller, Stephanie is one step closer today as she stands in front of the studios with an interview summons in her hands. But, the experience isn't quite what she expects. OhlalaLand's interviewing process is a little...unusual, a little...OhlalaLandian!
Tale of a Job Interview at OhlalaLand is a tale within a tale with a parade of wacky characters where talking animals, walking buttons, epicurean pen- people, and ghosts using cellular phones, are as real as the mystical creature interviewing her. In the nest of wonder and imagination, happily ever after is not far away...or is it?

Job Seeker or Not, You Need To Read This Book Because...

This tale will not only entertain you but inspire you. Tale of a Job Interview at OhlalaLand will empower you to roll up your sleeve and use your imagination to get the job (or life) you've always wanted.

You'll be doing a good deed as 10 % of the author's proceeds go to Kids Kicking Cancer, an organization that uses martial arts therapy to ease the pain of children with serious illness. Stephanie's mother got Leukemia while she was writing the book.
