Most Helpful Customer Reviews
This book, although it seems to be geared to business-minded people, provides good messages for anyone who wishes to grow and get out of their comfort zones. I love books like that.
"Talk to Strangers" is an outstanding "how-to" book. The author, David Topus, travels extensively and uses the opportunity to meet new people at every turn: at the ticket counter, on the airplane, in a coffee shop, anywhere. Many of these encounters ultimately result in valuable business contacts. With clarity and humor, Mr. Topus gives great suggestions on how to start a conversation with a total stranger and how to follow up to build a continuing relationship. While intended primarily for the businessman, the book is very useful for anybody who would like to meet new and interesting people.
