I really enjoyed the banter between Pete and Danielle in the beginning of this novel. I wish it would have continue throughout the whole story. It was interesting to see that Pete had met his match. Good story line as usual and kept you interested until the end.

I really enjoy Buchman's writing! I buy the e-versions of them. The 1st 1 I read was b/c the overview of it sounded interesting. I continue to read b/c he's a wonderful storyteller. His character development is well done & in-depth (multi-dimensional) as opposed to flat or 2-dimensional. He allows his characters both strengths & weaknesses w/o them doing things out of character. The characters & plots go well together. His plots are fairly straightforward but sometimes he adds a twist or 2. You just don't know until you read the books.

Best story since Mark and Emily in 'The Night Is Mine'. Loved the new crews and that some of the old gang showed up. I had just about given up on Mr. Buchman but he's finally back with this one. My one issue is with the publisher, come on guys, get some better looking models like in the earlier series.
