I love Andrea Smith, I loved this couple in the first book and how they over came so much to be together. so I was extremely surprise in the direction in which Ms. Smith took this book and it involved a very sore topic with me, which is cheating. Why on earth would you take a couple who went through so much and and earned their HEA the first time around, and take them through this??? For the love of all that is Holy, WHY???? I was hesitant to buy this book but loyal to the Love plus one and Dimond girl and the others in this series. So I took a chance. I shouldn't have brought this book. I know I'm alone in my review, because I see all the freaking 5 starts, but I'm sorry. Lindsey is my hero, because I couldn't ... She should have had a halo around her head, because no woman, would be able to forgive this.. and Slater.. don't even get me started. Taz might be a sexy alpha male, but it was not enough for me in this book. I will not be buying any more books from this author.

4.5 star I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, betrayal, amnesia, secrets, kidnapping and heartbreak.  If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Diamond Girl (G-Man, #1) Love Plus One (G-Man, #2) Night Moves (G-Man, #3) G-Men Holiday Wrap (G-Man, #3.5) These Men (G-Man, #3.6) This is Lindsey and Taz’s story. Taz was pulled into a job for his friend Slate.  But the job goes wrong.  After the mission goes south things get even worst for Taz.  He can’t figure out what is right and what is wrong.  Once he has finally returned home his life is crazy.  His wife hates him and he does not know why.  When all the details come out about the mission Taz wonders if he has lost his family for good.  Can he win back his wife?  Will anyone be able to get through to Lindsey and get her the help they both need?  Or does she believe he will always put the job first?  With the danger hitting home can Taz and Slate figure out what is happening and save everyone before it is too late?  Will Taz and Lindsey survive the aftermath of this mission?  Or is life as they know it over? I loved these characters and also the side characters. There is some anger filled moments in this story. But all in all I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.  I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

So, just when you think you’ve got your happy ending!!  We have already had Taz and Lindsey’s story back in book two of this series, Love Plus One.  There was SO much for them to endure as a couple during that story that my heart broke for them and I wanted only great things for them and we do start this book with them seemingly living happily ever after.  It takes place a few years after their original story – they’re married and have two beautiful children and they’re very, very happy.  But don’t get too comfortable because Andrea Smith is about to viciously rip the rug out from under this happy couple and send us on one heck of a difficult journey. Something is about to happen to Taz while he’s undercover working a mission for Slate, something that will seriously rock the foundations of his and Lindsey’s relationship and it will have you gasping in shock and sympathy.  None of this is Taz’s fault but it’s going to be a heavy blow for Lindsey and will have you all squirming uncomfortably.  It’s a plot line that I know will unsettle a lot of readers but it’s sensitively handled and really made me pause to think. I really felt their pain – after all that they’ve been through together, to have come so far and then to have to deal with this.  My heart hurt a little for them.  I put myself in Lindsey’s position and asked myself how well I would cope with this if it happened to me.  Short answer – not well at all.  Of course, she’s going to be mad and and will struggle to get their relationship back on the straight and narrow and a lot of this book is given over to that emotional struggle.  I found it desperately compelling and a really clever story line – in fact, I found it hard to put it down. I think, when we’ve loved a couple in a book before, most romantics, like me, just like to assume that our happy couple are blissfully in love and lust and everything is perfect and in Taz we get a chance to see beyond the happy ever after to see a couple facing up to and dealing with really severe difficulties and come out fighting. If you’ve liked Taz in the past, then you’re going to love this – it’s great to see him work hard to get his marriage back on track and wonderful to see his Lindsey learning to kick ass.  She’s come a very long way since the young, naive girl we first met back in Diamond Girl. This is another great contemporary romance from Andrea Smith who likes to push her reader’s boundaries just a little in every book.  Always expect the unexpected when you’re reading her books and prepare yourself for a suspenseful ending.  It’s a very emotional and thrilling read and a fantastic addition to the G-Man series. 4 highly angsty stars

Taz and Lindsey as a married couple is so much fun. Taz is a fabulous Dad and Husband which allows him and Lindsey to work as a team. When Slate enlists his help for an undercover mission, he takes the risk of putting his work before family which puts him in harms' way. When he loses his memory, this puts his marriage to the true test, I truly felt the trauma Lindsey suffered along with Taz's frustration of not remembering. What no one expects is that all of this is part of an intricate plot of revenge against the family which includes Slate, Sammie, Taz and Lindsey. Will Slate and Taz figure out the plan in time?

Overall Rating:  4.5 Rockin Stars What happens when you have your HEA suddenly taken away from you?  In this the fourth book in the G-Man series by Andrea Smith that is the question that our main characters face. Our G-Man, Taz is married to the perfect woman, has the perfect family and the perfect job.  What could possibly go wrong? Taz knows that something is not right and the information that is being fed to him is not right.  Why can’t he remember? Three little words an ‘agent is missing’ and not just any agent but her agent! Her husband, lover, the father of her children is missing while working on an undercover assignment for the FBI.  Lindsey Matthews is beside herself, especially when she starts receiving videos of her missing husband! Taz is the latest release in the G-Men series by Andrea Smith. I have to say this book took me completely by surprised and rendered me speechless. Andrea did something gutsy, unheard of , and risky. She took this couple to a complete new level. They were already living their HEA. Readers were happy with their story. They were invested in this couple's journey. This couple built a solid foundation and were living the dream. Then with one stroke of the pen ( or should I say keyboard) Andrea brought their world crumbling down. It was like a tornado whooshing through their life and leaving despair and devastation. The only thing they had to hang onto was the solid foundation they had worked so diligently to build. The book starts out with Taz going about his normal day. He is reveling in the family he and Lindsey have created. He adores his wife and loves his children. Life is good until he gets one phone call. A phone call that makes him meet Slate for a beer. One sip of beer and his life is changed. He is recruited for a sensitive mission because of his background, his expertise, and the person the FBI is hunting. It will be the beginning of the storm that will tear his life apart. It could ruin his relationship with Lindsey and destroy his family. Without saying too much more and giving a ton of spoilers away I will say this. Taz said he would of never taken this mission if he knew what was going to happen to his life. He would of walked away. Hindsight is definitely not conducive in this situation. The moment he took this mission the reader had a sense that something was going to go very wrong. The emotional trauma that all the characters go through is devastating. The destruction of Taz and Lindsey's life broke my heart. Andrea had the guts to break these very strong people. But they reared their heads and proved to her that they were stronger than what she originally created. They were not going to let her take away their HEA. Instead they redefined the meaning and made it more. They rebuilt their love, reassembled their life, and made their own destiny. I have to commend Andrea for the bold writing. It takes a talented author to pull this off. I was truly amazed. I highly recommend Taz by Andrea Smith. Although it is part of the G-Men series, I think a reader new to this series could easily pick this book up and become as involved in the story as the seasoned reader of this series.

OMG!!! I haved loved Taz ever since I read Diamond Girl, then we got Love Plus One and fell even harder for him. Now we got more Taz and this book is so good. This one will take you on an emotional ride and by the end you will know what the power of true love can do and overcome. Lindsey and Taz go through a really rough patch and just when you think they won't make it their love for one another overpowers all that is stacked against them. I just loved this book and it shows just how awesome an author Andrea Smith is, with her writing you feel every single emotion the characters have and everything written is so believable you just can't help but be sucked in and not be able to put the book down. I love me some Taz and this book just shows you why is he is such a hot, sexy, sweet alpha male. I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.
