Most Helpful Customer Reviews
Each story is only 6 to 16 pages long. The characters and situations are interesting, but each story feels like it needs several more pages to complete it. They are more like scenes that should make up a story instead of being the entire story. The endings feel like punch lines instead of closure to the stories. I did not enjoy this set of stories nearly as much as other Lackey anthologies.
Least enjoyable of these compilations. Several stories seemed forced and favorite characters felt flat, as if the authors were just trying to turn something in to meet the deadline.
